thanks MightyBoo 4 the address.

i don't mind getting sprockets/chain in jb.

have u ask how much metzeler ME-1 tyres?

darn! i didt ask anything about tires coz my tires were in fair condition.. spockets and chains are real cheap.. not too sure whats cheap down there..

Uncle Soh you still using your Puig windshield or revert back to Givi? I saw an uncle along TPE this morning with the Givi windshield.. He zoomed past me pretty fast.. Thought it was you..

Voltmeter? Would we need one?

Any of you guys still have your undertray/underpan on? I fixed mine yesterday and removed it all over again same day.. The vibes sound is unbearable.. How you guys fixed yours? Care to share..

excess vibration is felt after about 9krpm and above..

therefore its best to change the spockets so that u can remain at crusing range which is about 8.5krpm to 9krpm range at about 110 to 115kph..

Heres what i think:

15/41t = 140/60 rear (so far best setting tested by me)

15/42t = 140/70 rear (i predict is the best setting for this size)

not too sure if changing to a better chain makes a diff coz i've done it and feel no difference..

Hi anybody got iridium spark plugs for rw125? thinkin of upgrading to iridium but on ebay they sell by sets...

hi guys, is my roadwin normal??

90km/h = 7.5 RPM

95km/h = 8.0 RPM

100km/h = 8.5 RPM

110km/h = 9.5 RPM

stock sprocket = 14t/42t

rear tyre = 130/70

i normaly travel btw 90-100km/h..

wen i travel @100km/h, i noticed tat when there is a upslope..

my meter will drop abit..from 100 to (95-80km/h) it varies depends on

how steep de slope, is it normal??

about 2~3% more drive ratio than stock.

stock speed (rough guide):

90kph@8,000rpm

100kph@9,000rpm

110kph@10,000rpm

eh..de drive ratio..i ar-ga..ar-ga..try 2 understand abit..

using my own ratio n ur rough guide ratio..

de difference in rpm @ 90kmh = 0.5 Rpm

@ 100kmh = 0.5 Rpm

@ 110kmh = 0.5 Rpm

thus 0.5 Rpm is de 2 or 3% more drive ratio u referin to?

if i m wrong,can explain?

i set de idling @1.7 rpm..issit consider tune carb?

carb tuning is to meter leaner/richer fuel/air mixture at all rpm.

tuning is adjustment to the pilot-screw,

changing jet-needle's eclip position n main-jet size.

oops..nOw i noe idling setting is not carb tuning..:cheeky:

eh..dare nt do anithing on de carb yet..nOt familiar..

scare screw it up..

haha..onli noe h 2 adjust idling coz seen de mech. tune b4..

tat's y u have the rpm drop as u went up slope, lacking power drive.

did u tune your carb?

hmm..uncle sOh..u mean if de carb is properly tune..

even wen goin up slope,de rpm wont drop ar??

my idle speed is set at 1.4k rpm at normal operating temp (hot), cold is at 1.1k rpm.

some having problem like engine die-off when engine haven't warm-up enough.

But uncle sOh,sumtimes even i HAVE DID a 5min warm up..

wen i move off,juz abt to change 2nd gear..it still dies off..

is it due to carb tuning?? or??

tiz happen onli durin early mornin..(de 1st time i started my bike)

it aso happen wen i was haf-way up de steep slope..(those shoppin centre'carpark slope is real steep)

i tell de mech abt it..he say set de idling higher will solve it??

but i doubt as it stil dies off..

Engine dies of naturally or wont start.. only when.. weather cold.. engine cold.. what to do? theres a choke switch on ur left handle bar.. switch it down and start.. once engine start again.. pull back the choke to up position... this is SUPER common for me early mornings..

if ur engine dies when going up slope...

1) sounds like u stall ur engine requires warmup.. for me i cant be bothered to warm up the engine.. i start bike i'll keep ramming the engine until i happy (about 1 or 2 secs later) then i move off.. nothing will happen..

2) another reason why u go upslop in GEAR 1 with high rpm half clutch .. and STILL engine cut.. maybe due to ur fuel air mixture not properlly set, the instruction menu says 2 and 1/4 turn, but it ALL varies to a CERTAIN limit even though same engine..

3) ur spark plug turn into white hair liao.. too old.. go change.. get iridium 1 if possible.... it maybe the root of all ur problems..

therefore.. go down cka and askin uncle tune for you.. but i highly doubt its due to tuneing unless some1 itchy hand go play with it..

eh curious.. u girl or boy? ur nick and picture seems like girl..

lastly, i never .. or should i say cant be bothered to stay stationary and wait for engine to warm up.. just ram engine afew times and then half clutch move off le.. i usually dont release clutch when gear 1 move off half clutch i will tend to ram the engine alittle more coz i love the sound of my hollow muffler and also to heat the engine.. heeeheee.

oh ya.. errr idle rpm 1500 enough liao.. i also thought of bringing idle rpm higher.. but now i see NO point.. 1500 rpm is good enough.. if any lower rpm better coz engine less noisy.. but engine will be difficult to start.. u can play with this manually.. higher rpm pointless.. and im nothing going to explain why..

i tink veri long time b4 i register my nick hor!!

tink every1 been mizlead by e photo..put chiobu'photo

means is a gal??

haiz actuali i bisexual..haha

ya..i do tink tat carb tunin mite solve my current problem..reali hope

tiz is root of e problem..(if not headache..dunno watz causin it)

as wat uncle sOh say fine tune carb, pilot-screw n jet-needle's eclip

will gives more power..i aso tink is for a safer ride..

coz there r times wen i overtake a vehicle,its lacks e drive..takes longer time..

quite dangerous..

after changing my air filter, it feels more smooth... however y is it when i engine brake around 60 - 80 or pick up from 60 - 80, the vibration is super high..higher than normal...?

I just changed tyres to Pirellis Sport Demon 170/70.. sprocket revert back to 14/42T..

Bike now feels taller due to the height dfference of the tyre.. I noticed 2 cracks found on the cover of the front sprocket. Both cracks are located near the screw point (1 on top and 1 below).

However, wth the new tyres and sprocket, I noticed I can't pull any higher than 9 RPM and not more than 105km/h.. I am currently using the MJ92 and needle set to 3 slot. Engine sounds louder at 90km/h too..

Should I change the front sprocket to 15T or 13T (if there's any) in order to reduce the engine sound?
