I just changed tyres to Pirellis Sport Demon 170/70.. sprocket revert back to 14/42T..

Bike now feels taller due to the height dfference of the tyre.. I noticed 2 cracks found on the cover of the front sprocket. Both cracks are located near the screw point (1 on top and 1 below).

However, wth the new tyres and sprocket, I noticed I can't pull any higher than 9 RPM and not more than 105km/h.. I am currently using the MJ92 and needle set to 3 slot. Engine sounds louder at 90km/h too..

Should I change the front sprocket to 15T or 13T (if there's any) in order to reduce the engine sound?

wow!! rear tyre 170/70 is huge, tyre wall larger by 1.38 inches over oem 140/60. suggest u try sprockets 13t/45t or 14t/45t if u can find it.[/b]

Hmm maybe i made a mistake with the tyre specs.. But I now its one size bigger than the swallows..

will try to bring down to 13T
