hehe..i'm ridin a black rw too..

 

went to cka 2 renew my road tax.. saw a black rw x5 sold..

saw another black rw (fy plate) went for servicin..we smile @ each other..

haiz..n begin chattin again b4 leavin..

 

went to vivocity juz now..is free parkin..fyi..e gantry is slightly longer..

goin in is easier as it dwnslope..goin out quite difficult..mite hit de side mirror

esp. claz2/2A bike..

in previous postin..i mention tat eventhough i did a 5min warm up..it stil dies off..

tiz happens wen i clutch in..change gear (eg. frm 2nd to 3rd)..is tat moment i kick to 3rd gear..it dies off..

 

haha..i accidentally overcum tiz problem..

usuali wen de engine stall..

i will clutch in immediately(regardless of e gear i'm in) then follow by press de starter while it stil moving..tiz is wat i do usuail wen it dies off..

 

there is once it dies off again..as normal i clutch in immediately..

bt tiz time after i clutch in..sumhow by mistake i release e clutch..

brooom.....e engine resume back..

I was riding thru rain yesterday from JB all the way back to bukit timah... was soaked until my shoe even collected a decent volume of rain water.... my skin turn red from the beating of the rain while going at 100kph...

 

i noticed the engine performance decreased, i cannot peak the engine above 8500rpm, top speed went down from 120 to 100-105kph... but it was okay coz my avg crusing is 100kph.. eh something else happened...

 

i exited at clementi road.. at the junction red light.. stopping.. my clutch kick down.. some how it got stucked... i force kick up... it stuck at top gear... then kick down... can't find my 1st gear.. this time i stomp the clutch with moving back and forth the bike .. then it manage to go 1st gear..

 

preety scary incident... but managed to shift to the proper gears with force.. i tink the water build up somewhere that makes the clutch stuck... Anybody same problem when riding thru rain?? Bare skin like me.. play hero.. lol.

FC also went up due to this. Now trying to get 15T front sprocket but those available at CKA's are local made and may have adverse effects on the shaft in the long run. Any idea where I can get Japan made ones?

i think castrol eo r too thin for rw.

try other brands like fuchs or motul 20w-50 multi-grade.

Engine oil in my engine consist of 2 mixes..

1st) is shell eo...

2nd) a 2T eo.. its volume is very little, its packaged in small cylinderical sardine can sizes.. when added into the the engine before addin the shell eo.. it looks like greenish gel.. to wash it down into the engine from the funnel, the shell eo is poured and together it goes into the engine.. not sure what brand name it is... not even sure if i did remember if it has an performance increase.. all i remember when it was in my engine, i felt satisfied and happy.... its cheap.. about 12 to 15 ringgit..

I from malaysia, i am looking for 42T roadwin rear sprocket. currently i am using honda CG sprocket for rear sprocket but in penang this model had maximum 38T available in market only. Can you recommend any other bikes model that match the roadwin rear sprocket. I am searching all over penang island for my rear roadwin sprocket. front there are no problem, because it used yamaha RXZ sprocket and it widely available and can be bougt at 8 ringgit only( 4singapore dollars)

 

i plan to put 15t front/42t rear...

I used to ride in the rain before, heavy rain exspecially..yeah, my bike tend to loose it performance. let says usually i can cruise at 110km/h but when rainning my bikes can onlu hit 90km/h only. it normal. But regarding your clutch gooing downward acting weird, i dont have such experiance before. i still use stock clutch.

42T can be bought/ordered in JB... but they will have to do a custom job of drilling holes to fit exactly RW... thats what they did for me.. so far so good.. if ur DESPERATE i mayb able to help u.. i can ship over via singpost to ur doorstep.. but it cost u more $$ coz i stay in SGP (travel far distance).....

actually i'm used black rw too...original set

 

 

i have 1 friend can do this bike....his name 'ah seng' "if any of you know him because he kind of 1 of the most person 'they' will fine to mod their bike @ kl and he has very good name @ thailand" but he's gone just past 2 month.......

 

 

 

he said this bike can

(used TZM carb,high cam,can use jaguh modenas "malaysia" priston and put fibre or something)

 

 

 

actually i don't understand what he tells me about the "HIGH CAM" and "THE FIBRE":giddy: any of u can tell me?????

 

 

where i can fine moriwaki muffler @ kl????what type of engine i can replace with the stock engine????is there any rw racing engine and racing spare part????

 

 

from what i heard from all of u guys in the forum,your rw only can go to 120km/h after the mod.......what is the diff and is it effect the engine after doing the mod like what u've told???because actually my bike can go to 130 km/h with original setting.....i just want to know what is the diff and forgive me if my word hurts u actually stsoh.....i'm sory......i just want to learn:smile:
