bro, i just take out the air filter but damn, i just ride it throught the rain and now my bike not smooth as before...........damn,

 

yesterday i just took out the gasket and i realise that my bike can go 120 km/h @ 10,000rpm @ 4th gear....but at 5th gear i only can go to 110 km/h @ 7,500 rpm...........

my bike quite heavy maybe because of the rain came in into my carb......now i try to find the solution how to fix it......anyone of u can help me???????????plzzzz

 

Now i'm searching for the ixil silencer that suggested from roadwinner (thanx) i just see it in the web site just now.......maybe i interest to get it and thank you for that suggestion.........where is the exec location for the ixil silencer shop(PJ)?????

 

Turbo, WOW that is fantastic.....how i can get it??how much the price???and how far it can go???????is it can be found @ malaysia?????

ixil silencer... whats that? is it a muffler/ exhaust head?

 

Umm i believe the turbo component that is looks like a semi sphere is where it sucks in air from outside... its porous (tiny holes that can sip thru), i've seen it in car's .. their are found in racing sucktion kits...i believe they are efficent enough to suck air into the engine.. but i maybe wrong until it is tested..

not advised to install this gadget becoz battery operated. i don't think it can supply enough airflow when running normal to top speed. moreover there isn't a filter but a strainer-like cover the inlet, so the gained airflow is the same as no airfilter installed.

 

 

so is it effect our engine (negative/positive)??????is it true that it can increase to 35%????????

 

 

ur drive ratio (15t/40t+140/60) might be too much for the engine, power not enough.

my drive ratio (14t/42t+140/70), max speed on meter is 120kph@9800rpm on 5th gear, running down TPE tat is a slight inclination of 5~8 degree downslope expressway. mechanically is max-out geared speed for rw.

 

 

so maybe i need to change my spocket to 14t/42t+140/60?????or what???

 

 

from what i've told u before,is there any positive/negative thing that u can comment about my modding.......is it i should do more???????

erm.. i got a roadwin off bt batok cka.

 

a few question of rw. why does it first gear got so much force. have not even release clutch gonna kick 2nd gear already if not super dragggy..

 

when on expressway 5th gear.

is it normal for my rpm to hit 7-8 when im travelling at 80-90 km/hr?

 

seem like my 2nd hand RW got alot of problems, when i push forth the bike, crankling sounds can be heard off the rear brake disk. when i went to cka bt batok, they said it is alright as long when i ride it din give me any sounds.

ya true enough, it wil not give me any sounds when im at gear 2 and above but when im at gear 1 , it gives me sounds.

 

ok when i close trottle , why does pop pop pop sounds heard off the rear exhaust pipe is this normal?

 

im a newbie to bikes cause this is my first one, would appreciate if guys here answer my questions. thanks!!

a few comments for bt batok cka.

i ask them to fix the rack and box for me.

after fixed it up.

you guys know the little piece of plastic thing under the seats ?

 

it cant be put back, cause the body seem to have shrinked after they fix up the rack.

the mechanic ask me not to put any more stuffs under the seats , he said it has shrink duno why, but he fixed up for me and cost me 20 bucks, they disfigure my bike's body!

 

i asked them bout the rear brake sounds, they said it is alright as long it is not giving me any problem on the road.

 

you guys here have any nice place to recommend me to service me RW?

 

and also i got a little scratch off my bike's body. they quote me 300 bucks to repaint the whole bike. but i called the head quater of cka they told me , the bike's body can be bought for around 20++ dollars..

 

hmmm........

 

any one could enlighten me bout this ? thanks..

wat's r ur mods??

 

i would only recommend enrich carb tuning n 15t front sprocket if u r using oem tyre.

 

i just took out the gasket.....modding my exhaust n use the k&n(RXZ)....ican't found rc2290 or RC-2310 here...then i just used the rxz k&n....i don't touch my carb yet...it is standard tuning...........

if u check tat the rear brake r not sticky or pad worn.

it could be the chain hitting onto the swing-arm, maybe u need a new chain-slider.

(chain-slider is the rubber guide under the chain at the front of the swing-arm, near the front sprocket.)

 

 

carb setting too rich, open n close throttle unburnt fuel accumulate at the muffler, popped when it burnt.

try tighten pilot-screw by 1/4 or 1/2 turn. if it doesn't help, try shift the jet-needle's eclip to 3rd slot.

 

 

try cka-hq at kaki bukit.....ask for roy.

 

 

apparently he did over-tighten something or forgot to install a spacer, maybe u should re-do by remove the brackets n find out wat's wrong.

erm.. when i asked bout the casing price they told me it is like 20+ bucks only..

i called them up the cka hq..

 

i want to replace it, if it is that cheap. rather than repaint the whole bike for crazy sum of $$..

and when i step from gear 2 to gear 1, gear sounds can be heard duno what is that also.

 

sometimes when i kick gear it doesnt go down ..

n there once i will nv 4get.. i was travellin 70km/h @ middle lane..didnt knew tat de middle allows left turn aso..i was goin straight.. wen cumin 2 de junction..tada!! de car hvant completed his left turn..with juz 2nd arrow b4 de junction..i jam brake immediately..rear wheel lock skidded left rite left..de chain get jam too..reali scare de sh*t out of mi..

 

i muz comments though rOadwin is not a fast bike..but is veri safety n stable bike.. =)

hmm..tink wen de speed is still high..we cant engage to a lower gear..

which means we muz engage de correct speed @ de correct gear..

(i was frustated initialy..cOz de speed i travel is so slow..which i believe can engage to gear 1)

i consulted both mech @ JE n BB..

JE mech tell mi de above theory..(my frenz aso say so..he say we muz change gear @ de correct rpm range)
