Then what is the idea of people using oversized brake disc?

Does it neccessarily ensure better stopping power?

Uncle soh what spark plugs do u reccomend?

Just check with u.

I've asked previosly about better pick up and less vibrations.

- front sprocket 15t

- Pilot screw adjustment

- jet clip adjustment

- Foam grips

Did i leave anything out?

Just a general question. Has anybody change brake disc at other shops beside CKA and how much? Cos CKA quoted me $120 for the rear brake disc.

Reasonable or not?

Btw has this thread ever had a Roadwin gathering? Just wondering...

i did change my rear disc brake. yep. $120. i need to change because i found out that my disc brake is a bit bent...

gathering? ahhhh i've been waiting for one. ahaha.

What are the chances of getting caught with a removed-inner tube?

If none den i dont mind hehe... Can this be done at any bike shop?

Issit possible to DIY?

Uncle soh i roughly understand the idea of lifting up the mounting holes of the pipe to the bracket but i dont understand the function of a header gasket.

Did u do this mod yourself?

Anyway i was just rechecking. U did mention previously that using 15t front sprocket gives a higher ratio for greater top speed but not much improvement in pick up.

Then what is good to improve pick up? Rear Sprocket?

I'm probably one of the biggest noobs here so a bit hard to me to organise gathering.

Any of the 'old birds' organised RW gatherings b4? den i can try and coordinate from past gatherings.

none other than yourself to tell.

the chance is none if u don't say it.

sound is still softer than 2-strokers.

last vicom inspection, sound check is 78db.

u can ask cka or diy, i did-it-myself (check 'my rw mods' in my signature).

Hi.. I'm back from quite some times..

I was involved in an accident last Nov 2006 with my RW.:faint: It was heavy downpour and i was desperately on my way back home from office. There was a car just suddenly do emergency braking in front of me. On the slippery road condition, my RW got skidded as i sudden brake and hit that car. I suffered broken hip joint while my RW only got minor scratches + swing arm missaligned. Thank God i'm still alive & ready to roll again. It's almost 6 months and i really miss riding my RW.

So guys.. Have a safe ride.. (Always remind myself)

Btw Soh Bro.. Where's 'ur signature gone? Hope u don't mind to place it back as a 'Key to my reference' for our RW.. theehehehee :cheeky:

Unlce soh,

Visited kaki bukit the other day.

Met roy... very nice guy...

He said the adjusting of the jet needle's slot he can only do it if i do carb servicing cos he can see whether its ideal( needs to take condition of engine into consideration)

Fixed IU bracket there as well for $12.

Then he took a look at my tires and said that i was using tyres that are too big (150/60) Battlax t090 causing my chain to rub against my rear tyre.

The thing is the one who reccomended it was the Choong Kok Toh Guan mech.

The effects of the chain bite on my rear wheel are quite bad.

I'm planning on going there and make a formal complaint but do you think he will change to the original size?

feel so cheated...

anyone else had bad experience at Choong Kok toh guan?

Very disappointing for smthg like this to happen.

Actually roy notice the bite marks but he thought it was from the rear hugger.

Den i went to HKL den the mech noticed dat it was from the Chain.

Anyway i shall try going back and ask for a change although i seriously doubt it...

One more thing... the problem with daelim fuel gauge is generic am i right?

Cos mine shows empty after 200km travelled.

I read the previous posts about adjusting the float but im seriously clueless.

asked roy he said change the float which is like $30+.
