battery shouldn't be drain power tat fast, battery charging problem:

1) better check your battery external shell condition (not bulged, even though it is maintenance free).

2) rectifier can be problem too.

Better outlook ok. No buldge.

Rectifier not sure.

Most probable reason is dat before upping my idling last time, usually would press the ignition switch @ least 3-4 times every morning during morning start

see whether your headlight glows when u rev the engine.

if it does tat means your rectifier is burnt.

Oso, not really practical to switch to xw or x ring if on a small cc bike. These new rings are made for big cc bikes that produces tremendous torque and hp by minimising wear and tear during start off, hence stretching of the chain is delayed. Good for devil riders.

 

Small cc bikes, o ring more than enough to last u a year whether u chiong or not. All marketing hype onli.

Regarding the battery, everything is ok. My primary suspect is that battery wasn't charged adequately. I'll try to ride at higher rpm (nowadays maintain @ 6-7k rpm only) to see if got any improvements.

Change bike ready neber let me noe ah!! jialat ah u... they do la. But if you want to do bike bike, i'd rather go down to sanfu motor. just in front of cka from the rear entrance. They do bike bikes dere and from the forum's review, the place is not bad. Oso if u do it at cka, may have to wait for them to get the goods first since i dun see them stocking up on other bikes parts. Can give sanfu a try la.

Mr jack, sorry couldnt contact at noon juz now... came back from workshop...sleep liao, nite shift tonite man...... aniwai, changed my front rear sproc with normal chain... wah jialat ah.. front yamaha... rear suzuki sproc... only today found out my wheel config different.... my nex projek... steering cone and suspension...

This morning, out of curiosity, i tried to push start the bike to see if it easily starts. So while still sitting on the bike, clutch in, go into gear one, push the bike two three steps and release clutch....viola! bike roars to life. So no worries when bike cant start due to battery failure.

 

Could be becoz of the racing ignitor that produces a stronger spark, hence easy startup?:smile:

next morning, it is easier to start n then turn-on the fuel tank valve.

sometimes i do forget to turn-on the fuel valve n engine dies off 1/2km later. :cheeky:

yup i do that too. Prevents carb overflow
