met a vara 125 rider last fridae at my office carpark. Apparently, both of us were quite suprised to see that our bikes are 125cc's only. Asked him how his top speed, power, mileage was...etc.

Vara 125 top end is about the same as the roadwin (around the 110 kph range). In terms of pickup , a bit stronger since his bike still can go up the Cnetury square carpark on second gear @ low rpms (bout 3-4) but roadwin like gonna die like dat unless at higher rpm and half clutch.

Mileage, his was about 20-22 km/l compared to 30 km/l and both of us like to change gears in the 6k-7k rpm range. Didn't had time to exchange phone nos or sumthing as he had to rush back. Wonder if we can compare our bike to any Comet riders and see the difference.

Btw, pillioning on a vara seems more comfy. My gf always complains bout the slippery rear seat. I just told her that her ass was too heavy thats all...lolz

hey guys roadwin and comet many differences ? and yesh can we install fast throttle to roadwin ? to increase pick up and speed ? other than this wat other mods can we do which are legal.. ty

hey Mannu,

tot u planning to get a Mito.

I oso rode a Mito for my first bike. Saw your replys on the Mito forum since i freq visit the forum to see how r things. For the roadwin, it is totally diff from the Mito.

IMHO, it is most suitable as a learners bike compared to others since if you wanna upgrade to 2A, the Roadwin feel is almost identical to riding an S4 or hornet for your 2A practical.

Regarding mods, think you can look around the first few pages of the thread or ask stsoh for the specifics. A lot of mod info has been written down inside this thread :goodluck:
