hey guys anyone knows where to duplicate the bike key? i went to cka and they told me they dont do it and i went to alot of other key shops who told me they cant do it due to the shape of it or something like that..

 

hmmm actually i think u can do it la... u must go to those the make car key one... they MIGHT be able to do it... u go those normal make hse key one ar normally they cant do it... must go those make for cars de ... can try beside ah boy... or something... i oso haven go make one myself if i find any place i will update u guys ba..

 

Hw much do LTA fine if u pimp yr bikes lights ar?... i planning to place some LED light over at de back of my wheels under de seat... n maybe headlights too... issit easy to tio bo ar?

 

i had a similar prob of finding a keyshop which can duplicate the bike key.. even the famous keyshoe cannot do it.. i tried many shops but cannot. in the end, i found it. you can duplicate almost any key at the shop beside regina.

haha i everyday travel from tanah merah (bedok) to jurong camp but i only got 1 erp.. cos i take ECP -> AYE.

i read somewhere in this forum about changing front forks to linear shocks. is it applicable for our roadwin? oso, how abt fork braces, are we able to fix those as well?

I was riding along yesterday nite, and i had a chain slip. or was it a plate slip.. i dunno.. but it was scary.

 

spacerevo, can describe the symptoms before your clutch gave way?

 

any idea how much to change clutch plates and cable?

hoe abt full set of sprocketS + chain?

wat is linear shocks?

 

rw front fork is non-adjustable, oil n spring loaded shock absorbing fork.

to change any shock load for rw is change oil vicosity or amount of oil cc in fork.

 

if i'm not wrong, manual stated 265cc fork oil per side but problem is most fork oil come with 500ml bottle n worse it's not 500ml in the bottle but only 450ml if u measure it with measuring glass.

 

so if u change fork oil, can only fill up to 225ml per side.

otherwise if u have to buy two bottles of fork oil n waste 370ml.

 

maintenance-wise, u should change fork n brake oil every two years.

 

u can forget about fork brace, basically rw is very stable unless yours have alignment problems n fork brace won't help.

hey! hows everything?? here's a few answers to ur questions:

 

1) if your chain is really tat loose, it must have been rubbing against your mainstand before it slipped out. it happened to me when i just took over my bike. the previous owner knew nuts abt bike maintenance, and obviously he put in no effort to know.

 

2) i was quoted $60+ for clutch plates at cka hq

 

3) i changed my two sprockets plus chain set, OEM stock settings, for $140 at cka bb, tat was in feb this year, dunno if the prices have changed.

Rear Sprockets 24

Front Sprockets 28

 

Chain 150...... depending what chain loh

 

symptoms... u hear ur clutch very noisy
