I love roadwin! Ppl tink its 250cc or 400 cc! Too bad its a 2b bike,so nt as fast as 2500cc or 400cc!

yes..there's someting unique about the roadwin. people always think its 250cc ++ bike and when i tell them its only a 125cc, they get amazed.

hi guys! i need your advice. i am going to buy the roadwin. but i need to know if you guys know the avg price? this bike has caught my eyes since it came out. i just passed my tp, and i am 24 this nov. i will be joining you guys if you guys got daelim trips!

$3.2~3.4k??? So ex ar? Coe left how long more? I bought mine for $3.4k n dat was 1yr 4 months ago!

i would like to ask which product to use for washing and polishing roadwin ah ?.. cos the tank is made of plastic.. therefore cant use those for metal rite?...

just use any car wash n wax will do.

doesn't matter metal or plastic after all both r painted.

coat of wax is on the painted surface.

chrome parts can use wd40.

spray n wipe prevent pitting rust on chrome.

huge problem.... just got back home, pushing my bike...

my bike backfire and engine died..... able to start but, cant make it to rev....

maybe overheat, i dunno.....

able to start as normal, but when i open throttle, its like having the choke on... haiyo.....

r u good with bike mechanical stuff? if not let cka do the repair for u.

 

i suspect it's the jet-needle might have broken or it can be water in carb, often pump in jb?

 

if it is water in carb, unscrew the carb drain n let it drain off.

but water also accumulated in the tank, tank have to be drain also.

 

if u know how to unscrew the top cap of the carb to check.

problem with jet-needle n eclip coz jet-needle is soft aluminum n eclip is hard steel.

vibration from the engine tends to wear out the groove neck n coz it to break.

 

if it is this case, solution is replace broken jet-needle with new jet-needle then apply water pipe sealant tape around the clip groove area b4 clip-in the eclip. this will prevent jet-needle groove wear.

dun worry too much if u r getting rw from cka, they will give warranty.

any problems later, they will resolve it for u.

 

anyway many newbies dun like rw's vibs, lack of speed n pickup.

old man like me just luv it.

 

another option is to chose rwR which run smoother n got more power than rw.

advance efi (electronic fuel injection), water-cool, twin-cam.....etc.

but i got x5. same category as roadwin right? when can we go rounding as roadwin group? my hp is 83610113. can call me and meet up for supper!

 

i asked them to change it to mat black and original cause initially it is fire red with the fire sticker and rxz head. i think the rxz head does not look so good so i changed everything back to stock.

oh ya the pipe he say the previous owner changed so sounded damn loud and nosiy. so i asked them to tone down the noisiness also. haha. dun really like noisy bikes.

 

monday collecting. hopefully they can help me change the body in time.

yup pump in jb often, after the price in singapore increase....

tow to cka, ask them check and do up everything swee2.....

total cost $81....

but water maybe because its been raining at i leave my cuppon on the tank keyhole...

and i have not ride the bike for 1 week....

 

need to go find guru to teach me at carburator....

rain water not likely to leak into tank coz i often pump in jb previously.

i drain tank n carb every 3~4 months, even change pump stations still had water in tank.

so now i gave up n also did not renew passport after it expired.
