right clik below link n save as to download it:

http://www.dmc.co.kr/eng/pdf/owner_roadwin.PDF

read it carefully, try n understand as much as u can, it's a basic guide.

bridgestone battlelax bt-045 is good.

sport touring with dual compound thread (DCT).

tire pressure r:

lone rider

front = 2.00 kgf/cm3 = 200 kpa = 29 psi.

rear = 2.00 kgf/cm3 = 200 kpa = 29 psi.

with pillion

rear = 2.25 kgf/cm3 = 225 kpa = 32 psi.

buy second hand bike from any bike shop, they dun give owner's manual too.

consider u r lucky to have digital copy to read.

other brands might not even have when brought new.

if u want to learn how to wheelie, learn it with a bicycle.

u will definitely damage ur bike, 100%.

i dun know how to wheelie, dun ask me how to do it.

do a search on youtube, there r many videos on how2wheelie.

some do it on scooters, some on 50cc but most with big bikes n crashes.

it's all base on ur ability, skill.

highly doubt that rw can wheelie.

its hard to even pop the front wheel up.

the weight is just too much.

i know how to wheelie on a bicycle.

but a motorbike is very different.

there's alot more weight to be concern about.

wheeling on a bicycle is finding the balancing point on the rear wheel.

once u found it , its easy.

but a bike. esp rw, no torque to kick it up. no power to maintain.

2cents worth.

on a side note.

uncle stsoh!

my bike has this grinding sound from the engine.

its not the brakes or etc because stationary also have the sound.

possible to be the timing chain ?

its kinda worrying as well as irritating :cheeky:

Thanks in advance!

grinding sound????

nobody can tell unless the engine is strip down.

can be either the timing chain or starting gear tat causes the grinding sound.

i'm speculating, best is to let cka diagnose ur problem.

for any engine capacity after mod, yes, there is a need to retune carb even for EFI.

regardless of carb or EFI, most important is to find engine optimum air/fuel mix.

dun trust any bike shop, they just agar agar any how do it 4 u....trial n error.

for carb, changing main-jet size, slow-jet size or jet-needle clip positions is an optional as long as u can get 14.7:1 wt air/fuel mix.

for EFI, there r electronic devices to remap fuel settings for big bikes.

there aren't devices any for small bike yet.

optional, this is my recommendation for stock carb settings:

1) change stock main-jet n use main-jet size #102.

2) change stock slow-jet n use slow-jet size #40.

3) set jet-needle clip to slot 4 for power (set to slot 3 for fuel saving).

4) set pilot(air)-screw at 1.25 (1 1/4) turns.

yes, u need to drain old eo in-order to fill up with

i'm using rp max-cycle 20w-50 eo which is extended oil change.

.

i read that the W means how quick the oil flow or something like tt at cold temperature and smaller better flowing at cold temperature so y nvr pick 10w-50?

where to find RP EOs?

'W' = winter.

first two digits, eg. 5w, 10w, 15w, 20w means viscosity below sub-zero temperature.

'W', winter, it means at sub-zero it's viscosity is 20, 15, 10, 5.

for our climate, it doesn't affect us or matter at all.

basically we need to pick last two digits, either 40 or 50 viscosity at engine operating temp >100 deg C.

royal purple max-cycle 20w-50 engine oil, u can buy from retail shop at tanjong pagar plaza, block 2, #02-20.

http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel_id_8912/travel_site_3961/

buy a bottle n bring it to cka, let them change eo 4 u (a nominal fee will be charge).

seems like all the motor shop at east side-.-

i bought 10w-50 castrol from ah boy ...hope its nice.

my first service i observe and learnt abit le... after tt i will do the oil change myself

i heard a brand online called amsoil which seemed to look as if very good... anyone tried?

what happens if you mix two type of oil together? like 40 and 50?

how do i choose oil filters? is a 7 dollar oil filter enough?

it's not a motorshop but a retail shop tat sell rp in central part of sillypore.

castrol is the worst of all eo.

it's mineral oil processed thru hydro-crack n labeled as full/semi syn eo.

after a week of run, u have problems like :

difficulty shifting to neutral, difficulty/rough/hard gearshift,

jump to neutral when shifting from first to second, rougher engine run.

amsoil is better than rp coz amsoil is full syn eo n rp is not.

i haven't try it yet but it just too good for rw.

maybe u can try maxim synblend 20w-50 extra.

it cost S$16 per bottle compare to rp max-cycle 20w-50 S$18 per bottle.

mix viscosity 40 with 50 = 45 vi.

why need to mix??......1 litre is just nice for rw.

rw dun burnt eo like phantom....even after six yrs.

use oem oil filter is the best n only choice, u can't choose n use other makes.

best practice is to change oil filter when change oil.

if u frequently change eo due to high mileage in a short period like monthly or bi-monthly.

to save some money, S$7 for an oil filter is not expensive, others cost more.

u can change oil filter with every two oil change.

troublesome to change eo, diy.

u need to dispose eo at bike/motor shop, can't just dispose into rubbish bin or drain.

it's considered pollution.

some bike shop will charge a few dollars for disposal, maybe cka will not charge.

beside u will crack the oil drain plug if over-tighten it.

dun worry, mineral oil is still oil tat does lubricates.

just try it, otherwise u wun know how bad it is.

i also did tried many types of oil like mineral, semi n full syn.

if didn't felt good then change it.

dun need to replace oil-filter if run is short.

i usually replace oil-filter every 8,000 km or 5000 miles.

ie. change oe every 4,000 km, two oe changes, one oil-filter change.

i am using amsoil... so far so good... it is smooth.. personally i like them...

but my friend riding x1-r complain to me for intro that oil to him... he say his bike lost power and all sort, he say that his $10 castrol is much more better then amsoil...

ahaha.. but for rw, it good... hahaha...

alot of 2strokers use castrol as it is cheap, and the 2 strokers only need the oil to lube their gear and clutch..
