bro, parts are quite limited here..nothing much i can do

the original piston is so small, and i'd suffered the damage.. since the parts are limited, i send my one to lay the block..using 175cc piston, new rod, valve and adjust the carb accordingly.. but not so much different about the maximum speed, i also forgot my max speed bcoz my meter cable owredi putus.. u know the price of the cable? it cost me

RM50..mahal u know, compared to kawasaki ZZR 250, only RM15..

same, mine when i press high beam, the main fuse will blow. to prevent the fuse from blowing. i stripped off the internals. now only one direct cable for the low beam to work. no switch anymore..

 

If ur's is like mine , the high beam switch is corroded. therefore cannot. fix also is change the board. To save $90 bucks for the dumb switch, i did the above :/

dont want to know. all damn expensive.$130 for a rear disc for rw? hard to find after market ones cause 3 bolt?. compare to a kup sp etc. its like wtf.

23. Fork jetting ( bending back the clamp ) - $90 Repair

thats all i can think off the top of my head.

shocks cannot use other bikes de ah? rear disc hard to find cause 3 bolts. why so special one ah?

u guys r newbies.

u brought 4~6 yr old bike.

u should expect repairs due to abused by previous owners.

u complain it is expensive.

u cant afford, dont riding rw.

change to a cheaper bike.

cheaper to maintain like cub, rz, rxk, sp, others.

u be happier.

WTF, dont compare to cub, rxk, rz, of course rw is expensive.

rw $280 shock absorber if u compare to same type as big bike, it will cost $800 oem shock absorber.

btw, rw use kabaya shock absorber, one of top manufacturer n not those oem type.

rw $150 header compare to a 4-in-one of big bike will cost $1000 oem header.

rw $130 stator compare to big bike $300 oem stator, exclude labour cost.

if u want maintenance free bike, i suggest u ride honda cub c50 or c100 tat can run forever.

conditions of ur bike depends on the bike owner ability to perform maintenance.

abuse n repair when it's broken or in despair conditions r results of non-maintenance n ignorance.

True newbies are newbies. but have u seen the price of super 4 headers ? drz headers ? no doubt they are not stainless steel but do u know the price?

 

Im just saying its on the high side of a 2b bike. im not comparing to higher class bikes.

 

We'r riding a 125cc for a reason, it should be relatively cheaper than a class 2 bike.

If we are rich and able to spend alot on our bike, what's stopping us from riding a rs125 or some other.

 

Most of us riding this bike here in this forum, DO NOT have a full time job. Most of us are still schooling. We work our ass off in our free time to upkeep this bike. You are saying after 1 year, im repairing damages done by the previous owner? just for your info, im not. How do u abuse wiring( my switch spoil ), abuse meters ( my meter damn cocked up, ask lazykatak to show u his ).

 

I used to respect you because your like a guru for us newbies. Than u come and shoot us down because we cannot afford your favorite bike. Sorry uncle, but not everyone as well off as you are.

 

and c50 or c100 is not a maintenance free bike, but parts are CHEAPER AND EASIER TO FIND ( Whole point of us complaining).

electric meters, wires n switches get deteriorated when exposed to elements like hot sunshine n rain.

cover ur bike with canvas.

i dont have electric problems for six yrs (only fuel gauge, not reading accurately).

i been riding it since new n i cover my bike all the time.

now your back with advise, yes it will deteriorate. but $90+ just for the switch ? i went to ask for a phantom switch at a bike shop near my place, similar pattern, signal, passing beam high/low beam horn. its only $35. To modify it to rw cost another $30-$40 more. Now Now, back to the issue with parts being on the high side.. Its a forum, im pretty sure its okay for me to rant?

dun fight, the bike is ours, this forum is for the public... we only share our experience and feel abt the bike.. and i guess it is what this forum is abt...

but now we have a problem, bike shop dun want buy our bike including our cka and we are stuck with rw...

add to that, we need more $$ if we need repairs due to parts being more expensive the most bikes out there..

we can change bike, but at our lost... just because daelim is a rare bike and only cka have the parts.........

but cant deny that rw is a reliable bike, if the parts are cheaper im sure it will be better....
