hi guyz... im new here... juz passing by. how much does Roadwin cost now for 1st hand and 2nd hand?? does it worth the money to buy this bike?? juz thinking if a 125cc bike and 200cc bike cost ard the same price, ain't it better to buy a 200cc bike?? :help:

If a 200cc bike had poorer finishing, poorer workmanship etc, would u buy that bike even if it was 200cc or would u get a 125cc bike that has sturdy workmanship, quality finishings and long term durability?

Really boils down to preference. A 200cc transport bike will have higher hps and top speed....true but if it always give u problems and u have to spend money on overhauls, changing of worn parts, won't it better to get a 125cc bike that is long lasting and won't give u so many problems?

Also, a difference of 75cc isn't a big difference in terms of displacement. After all they are still considered mopeds (small cc bikes) in the motorcycle world. Unless u toking about comparing a 400cc and a 900cc bike that is bout the same price....

just use wd40 n spray it on toilet paper, wipe those dirt off on the rims..

In fact dun need to buy WD40...got a lot of other imitation brands that are cheaper than WD40. Just go to any hardware shop and ask for WD40 alternatives.

Wanna wash bike? Can  Best if the place got water hose.

Oso, u can oso get concentrated degreasers. Just dilute it with water in a water pump spray and use it to clean those hard to clean areas.

200 cc bike = phantom? Thats was my 2nd choice to buying this bike..:offtopic:

Phantom? No la...dun mean phantom la. Phantom is a great moped cruiser, both the TA150 and TA200.

Just that dun really like riding a chopper and oso want a bike dats different from the majority yet oso on par in terms of quality n performance.

Many ppl still think Daelim bikes aren't as good as the Japanese ones....which unfortunately isn't true.

SINGAPORE: Motorists now have some reason to cheer, as petrol stations island wide are offering the biggest discounts in 10 months, as oil prices go down.

--- So what....bloody price still high. Go JB, Vpower @ 1.68 ringgit... still only 0.8 singapore dollars. Here SGD1.68, 13% discount - still about SGD 1.4 = bloody expensive :giddy:

NOw 13%? haha better go top up soon. Go all the way to m'sia to top up like not very worth it for us living in east area.. unless we are passing by

Actually quite worth it la....only muz sacrifice around two hrs of travelling time (compensate for jams). If u top up above the brim (filler neck), u only waste bout 2 litres of travelling fuel since journey from Tampines to Woodlands is about 30 km using TPE/SLE.

at first, i brought it without comparing it to original from cka.

roy tot going richer can produce better power but on the contrary.

jet-needle marking "J7" has a narrow taper-end, so it allow more fuel to be fed to the engine.

current my carb setting is jet-needle "J6", eclip at 3rd slot n air-screw 3/4 counter-clockwise turn.

Most probably becoz of the air intake. RW air filter dun maximise air input. In order to compensate for the larger input of petrol, u need larger volume of air. I think if u replace the air filter to a open type K&N air filter, i believe u can achieve better power.

Unfortunately, K&N does not seem to have any open type air filter for RW. I did that to my old Mito when i changed the needle to a tapered one. Btw did u ask roy what type, size of carburator the rw uses. 28mm or 32mm?

A bigger sized carb will also increase power but consumes more petrol

didn't ask roy but he did say the carb is "DMC" korean brand carb.

did a measure last time, the carb end facing the airbox is about 40mm OD.

tot u want to try those k&N universal cone filters posted previously. :cheeky:

Those are not the open type, so no use.
