shouldn't use this word (typo error should be 'chafing'), wat i'm trying to say is, the screen is hitting/rubbing the on handle brake reservoir.

bike belongs to someone else, not sure it is still there or not. :cheeky:

I saw it too

Yesterday went down to the Ban Hong agency (Hyosung dealer)....the comet's finishing isn't as sexy as the rw's on closeup...only from far it looks more macho and bulky possibly due to the V-twin engine that looks like a 400cc engine. But the roadwin looks more sleek and finished.

If any wants to see the comet in closeup, go to the Caltex near AMK Industrial Pk II

if u want fuel economy, need carb setting back to stock or leaner=less power. :cheeky:

i did enrich the carb setting n hit 24km/l......so far try the best power setting is at 26km/l.

u can feel the power moving up hill/slope.

currently my setting is at 28km/l can just maintain the power.

like the SLE upslope at woodland b4 the BKE/Kanji/JB filters n the upslope of sheares bridge. :cheeky:

can accelerate out from filter to expresway to match on coming traffic.

if u ride around with gentle throttling/shifting gear at rpm less then 4500 rpm, will also save f/c.

two adjustments, the jet-needle's eclip to a leaner slot or turn the air (pilot) screw clockwise, located at the carb bottom front...

i got one Q lah bro....

now my speedometer reach 320km/h and my oil fuel needle already hits the

"E"....but when i open the tank, there r still some fuel there but i don't know how much more i can go.So the Q is later when i wanna go back at 1030pm, what should i do? Shold i put to normal "ON" or "RESERVE" ???

thanks...bro:help:

From my experience, if the meter only at the E, still got about 3 litres more including reserve.

Once the needle pass the E and drop all the way down to the bottom, then you are already going into reserve.

So if your fuel gauge has not been tampered with, then it is safe to say that you should only turn to reserve once the needle hits all the way down.

your bike is still stock n u did not change any thing yet.

i believe u can achieve greater than 30km/l, so u can easily clock 500km on the odometer.

u only turn to "RESERVE" when your bike start to jerk whilst riding, this is a sign of fuel running out, then turn to "RESERVE" (u have to learn how-to-turn to reserve while riding). :cheeky:

becos every bike r different in many ways, u can try this just top up to full tank n see how litres u have filled.

from this u can calculate how much fuel u have left, just minus 16 litres from the amount of fuel topped up. :cheeky:

on the first day i bought the bike, i still remember that when i top up

full, i have to pay about $19.00 before discount bro.I know my tank

is quite big that is 16litres....but as wat u tell me izzit true i can go till

500km/h with a full top up??? because now my speedometer that is

situated below the odometer is 320 only and the oil needle reach to

the END already???

can i get an exact answer from u bro....??? thanks

y not u just go n top up full tank first.

cos $19 of wat fuel?? shell 95/98, esso, caltex price r different based on fuel octane.

i'm not sure the price of fuel in sillypore cos i always went to jb for fuel.

shell v-power in jb cost rm1.68, how much is it nowadays (S$1.7?)?

so u can calculate base on the amount of cost per litre n do your elementary math.

ok now i wanna ask u again....i am sure u ever top up full tank am i rite...

ok now don't talk about fill up oil at jb or singapore....that one is not

important...as long the tank is full ok....

OK NOW TALKING ABOUT YR BIKE, WITH FULL TANK SUPPLIED, BEFORE

RESERVE U CAN TRAVEL HOW MANY KM/H????

THAT I WANNA KNOW FIRST OK....BRO...

THANKS:bouncefire:

but another thing ahhh....how to know whether the oil left 1 litre more by looking

from the top view bro???? and 1 litre can travel to how many km...20,30 or ???

can't tell becos the tank is not symetrical.

only when u turn to reserve then u know tat it suppose to have 1.1 litre left.

stock can travel 33km/l from my previous experience.

:cheeky:

alamak sorrilah bro.....wat i ask is incorrect.....

ok......now the Q is

not the odometerlah bro....it is the tripmeter....

now my tripmeter reaches 320 already....my fuel gauge reaches

to the point E....but when i check through the fuel cap there r still oil inside...

now my Q is according to yr experience, how many km more can i travel before

i can turn to reserve???? wat i mean the tripmeter lah bro....

thanks....
