Mr yob long time no see....how ur XJ? Starter motor was partly my fault got spoilt la....wash bike just spray water on engine but never dry that part completely so maybe water seeped in and shorted the coils :giddy:

cam chain normally can last >50k km.

i got strange sound like chain running occasionally and i found tat it is the chain cover cracked.

was rubbing it at times irregularly, i did asked b4 n plastic cover cost about S$38.

repair it by using eproxy patch.

laggy performance, have u check ur spark plug?

maybe carb setting too rich n soot up the spark plug n muffler.

other possible problems maybe air filter choked.

or like slaygay, his rear brake jammed.

laggy performance most prob the carb needs tuning and a change of spark plug will do

As long u dun whack the engine all the time than the above mentioned should be just fine,

hey there is a mo of fuch silkolene pro 4 15W 50 fully syn going on. 15 bucks.. If u all interested can go order.

Oh ya the warranty for our bikes is for the engine parts. Jack u lucky they change to u for free. Just changed rear brake pump. still monitoring the problem. Was asking them to check the rear wheel alignment but roy told me its aligned. Still a bit worried coz i still can see brake marks on the discs..New ones made after roy cleaned it. But he gave me a week guarantee. Was think whether the brake pads are too huge which caused it to rub against the disc plate? Is it possible. Or the free play too small.

Hey anyone of u guys have like 100 or 200 ml of engine oil to spare or sell. I dun wanna waste a whole bottle coz roy said my engine oil a bit low need to top up. Today i felt my engine cooking (hotter den usual) maybe the oil level really slightly low

hey do u guys bikes heat up easily. Recently i noticed the area around the fuel tank where u clip your legs to the bike heating up quite a bit. Is it normal coz of the heating up of engine or should i check the radiator of the cooling system

It's normal especially on a hot sunny day
