Differences between the model 2004 and 2005

- the rims and the framework are painted in black on the model 2005

- a black driving shoe was added on the model 2005

- the shock absorber of the model 2005 (of red color) is more flexible than that of the model 2004 (of yellow color)

What the hell is a black driving shoe???

Maximum speed

- maximum speed lies between 110 and 130 km/h (Roadwin meter) according to the wind

- a change-wind(windshield) is essential to be able to reach Vmax

Consumption

- It is located at the neighbourhoods of 4l/100 km

Modifications to improve the performances (nonexhaustive list)

- Drilling of the pot (see image, seem like my muffler is well known. :thumb: )

- less vibrations - Change of the candle of origin by a candle NGK IRIDIUM (ref.: CR8EHIX-9) - + of couple

- Change of the air filter of origin by a conical air filter K&N (see image) (ref.: RC2290)

- Change of the pinion of origin 14 teeth by a pinion 15 teeth or 16 teeth + of Vmax

- Adjustment of the carburettor

- Adjustment of the tension of the chains

UNLIMITED POWER soon will distribute 2 kits to increase the power of the ROADWIN.

1 will improve the performances while remaining in 125cc while the

2 will increase the cubic capacity in 160cc.

KNOWN PROBLEMS

- metal Noise: that can come from the catalyst which takes play. Generally this one is fixed at the end of one moment but it happens that he moves from time to time

- Vibrations: To eliminate the maximum from it, it is necessary to bore the pot as higher indicated.

turn anti-clockwise or lossen air(pilot)-screw BY HALF TURN (see previous posts).

this air(pilot)-screw is at the carb's bottom/engine side.

also change front sprocket to 15t.

downslope/hill maybe can hit 120~125kph.

if u want 140kph speed, change ur bike to nsr sp, kips, aprilia or any big bikes. :sian:

how ebout oil consumption?? izzit will be increase compare to normal { before mod } ???? and how much i have to pay for the mod???

Hey just wanna ask . Coz my fuel consumption improved lately.. Assuming riding habit same. COuld it be the engine oil plaaying a part? but i feel slight power loss compared to last time. Going to try out the silkolene pro 4 engine oil plus next time round.

aiyah.....change piston oso can reach those speeds mah. Go Johor and ask around la...one thing good bout small cc bikes easy to do engine mods esp in M'sia.

Anyway, i thinking of changing back my sprokets to 15/42 from 15/40. If not bike rarely passes the 8000 rpm so not using full potential of engine....

Anyway....did u try out the top speed for yourself or did cka told u? Sometimes they sales tok too extreme one. Like when they say the 125cc rw can hit 130kph just by modding the front exhaust! Haiz....actually it only improves pick up and rpm (easier to high rev) la

hi all,

I'm new to this group. I'm a Malaysian. FYI, i've been using RW fr nearly a year now. Gd bike. Previously changed my exhaust system to Yoshimura. Cost me RM 500. Last week I changed my manifold, custom made. Cost abt RM 200. Currently

i'm workin at Port Dickson. Very hard to find RW's acc :sian: Not like u guys in Spore. Anyway, since i changed the exhaust system the bike feels much better, less vibration. Top speed - same. However, pick-up is really good. Since it's very hard to find RW accs & parts, i had to use others bike's parts like changing my sprockets to 15/38. Yes 38 (Honda Raider). Totally diff from 42 at high speed. No vibration and if the tunning is right it might hit 120km.

You can use those S'pore - M'sia Courier services. It's reasonably priced. I'm sure u can make arrangements with our local distributor regarding the ordering/delivery of the parts

15/38? Isn't slow on pick up? Mines 15/40 and pick up is slower compared to stock....but cruising @ 100 - 110 is no problem :cheer:

hi again,

maybe i will check if it is possible.

Reg sprockets 15/38, u need to adjust yr carb settings.

In terms of pick-up, yes bro. Speed, not much but it is very much diff from stock in case of vibration and speed. Fuel comsumption - very good compare to stock.

Currently my carb is set to slot 3 and turned around 3 1/4 turns instead of 2 1/4 for the air screw. Idling now is a bit fuzzy (ranges from 1k - 1.4k rpms during stationary) but can hold on to 110 km/h quite easily @ 8500 rpms

Damn front brakes acting up again. Almost got into accident yesterday at night just after the rain. Was travelling around 50-60 kph before i wanted to turn into the carpark when this SUV woman driver was contemplating on whether to filter onto the main road.

Had to brake suddenly but front brakes were not gripping so squeezed the brakes harder when it happened. I almost lost control had it not been for my defensive riding technique learnt during my NS time. I was like one meter away from the car when i finally halted.

Best of all, while skidding and looking at the damn suv in front of me.... i could see the ladies expression macam she wanted to scream like that...IN SLOW MOTION. Haha... Damn close shave man...Lucky i said my prayers before riding evertime (almost):cheeky:
