I just tested my bike yesterday. 1st gear 11,500 rpm can reach 130km/hr. After twisting more until 12,000 rpm, the bike got power cut and dropped back to 120km/hr instead of going faster..

You all encountered this??

wah, fierce!! the most i go was 9krpm at melaka country side road, never go above 9k before..

draging first gear to the max must ask undertaker, he everyday do it.. :help: :help:

yesterday I also did a pop on my bike. I think our bike too heavy to do wheelie...

I ram about 9,000 rpm using clutch method. THink can ram until 11,000 rpm to do a straight pop up..

actually from oversea forum, cbr900 is a wheelie bike, easily wheelie...

may be we need more practice... :smile: teach us when you master the skill... :smile:

err so far i tried 1st gear (only once) to just hit max rpm, yes it was 120km/h. but never redline 1st gear before. tried 12k rpm on my 6th gear before, no power cut leh.. speed still increase.

walao... u drag until 9k rpm ah? more power than me sia... me max also hit 8.5k rpm then change gear liau- if not sure run out of road.. 1st gear i never drag wan la... oni hit 3-4k rpm. scared engine blow.

i tried last week, RPM 6k on 1st gear can pop the front up liau without using clutch. but i dare not push further.. if keep the throttle open sure can wheelie far2.. :bouncefire:

haha, you're correct, but once you get a sport bike, you confirm will whack abit... if not no point getting sport bike and ride slow... :smile:

 

btw, i'm thinking of adding flame onto my bike, what you guys think about this paint job, not too muach of flame, so i only need to spray my lower fairing and tail piece...

the pair of rims should cost about S$5k++ for aluminium rims. both rim save u about 10kg++ pf weight. drag ur 1st-2nd-3rd gear sure automatically ur front lift up wan. :thumb:
