Have you tried FJT Parts and Accessories?

It seems they now carry Sudco's products. Sudco is a major distributor for OEM carbs parts. I'm sure you can find your part in this list: http://www.sudco.com/vol34/sudco34cat.pdf

Then you can call up FJT and provide them the part no. Let me know if this helps.

I assume yours is 39mm? Did the MJ/PJ come larger than stock FCR? What's the current size you have there? You could try a dynajet kit?

Anyways, serious sh|t you got there bro. Carbies rule!

Edit: I think dyno centres carry jettings as well? You could ask from them or better yet, jet your carbs on a dyno!

have yet to try FJT, but about sudco's, if they only make OEM fitments then it will not fit the FCR too. the main jets that i need for my FCR is bigger at the body (not only the size number). anyway i forgot the MJ size, damnit.. will call up my mech to ask/confirm n post it up here again... if i remember correctly, the MJ dat came in the FCR was #190 (cos running without airbox)

*i'll be using the open pod K&N filters, so will need a smaller size MJ.

i'm not sure about dyno centres, but they dont sell it cheap and will have to wait for them to order it. have enquired before, their labour to fix + tune the FCR is even more expensive than tuning the PC3 for my 954.

might not be using dynojet kit for the FCR cos this FCR unit i bought over from bro LinW, it came from an ex-drag bike... would prefer to use the stock FCR config to minimize the fuel consumption & then i'll slowly fine tune it after putting it on the road..

yeah my FCR is the 39mm one...puts out serious power on my buddy's 94 900RR... duno how will mine turn out.. heheh..

we can meet...maybe in mid june...endcan still got?how much?

sweet lah, we'll have a meetup when u come lo...but i'll be riding kupkia :D

oh and i sold my endcan to one of the bros here already, sorry dude!

eh bro, actually i was in sg last week for 1 nite... but kena fever there so i slept thru the nite... damn paiseh.. :shy:

oops, sorry to hear abt that bro, hope it wasn't too much pain! i'll catch ya the next time u drop in on SG! ;)

nope i'm not getting smaller stock jets.. i'm actually fixing a FCR carb for my bike, so i'll need different size jets since the jets that came with the FCR carb are too big.. i managed to get the pilot jets from eversuccess, but they dont have the main jets other than stock shape. i'm searching for keihin FCR main jets, they not the same type as the stock ones...

any idea where else to get besides shops that carry OEM parts ?

bro, this dealer stocks most of the stuff, but i dunno if it's within budget, u cld email them and get a quotation for the required parts.

lemme knw if you need help shipping it!

just asking bro...are GPR endcan good?

hm, i've used the GPR evolution line of endcans for both my cbr400rr and my cbr900rr (bless that bike who is already on the racetrack up above...)...will try giving some feedback even though i don't have dyno figures to support (no $ for dyno :( )

they have a reputation (in SG only since we've got lousy regulations on sound restrictions) for being the loudest street-legal pipes u can put on a japanese big-4 bike...dun compare w stock dukes lah...

personally i've heard wayyy louder pipes, but GPRs have a nice bassy note. other than that, the finishing is not as good as microns and yoshis (maybe the latest ones have improved...).

power-wise it increased the rev range on the top-end for both my cbr400rr and my cbr900rr, since the GPR endcans are straight-through design, and the little restrictor isn't a screw/rivet-on piece on the endcan's outlet. it's just a little conical piece that you can easily remove/install by slotting it in/out of the endcan when detached from the midpipes.

overall, it was a budget endcan, good value for money, and i didn't regret it.

Bro LinW, the site you listed is in US? Can you help ship stuffs from US shops? Some of these bloody shops don't ship to overseas, or they charge silly prices for shipping little things that could very well go into an envelope.

Grass what's the deal with running w/o airbox? I'm sure the link I sent you has what you want. It's about 600+ pages catalogue with every carb parts that are ever manufactured on planet earth? 39mm FCRs are quite popular I'm sure you would find what you want.

Haha with #190 MJs I don't think you would get mileage anywhere near good!

yeah i used to ship stuff occasionally frm the US when i was modding my cbr900rr...there are a few nice outlets that ship worldwide, and helpfully package ur items in the best weight/volume config to save ur postage $.

it also helps to have a paypal account so that transactions have some sort of security and recourse in case of anything going wrong. it's usually cheaper to just ship via USPS Priority Intn'l, though insurance is not included for that price (can opt for it though), and ship less than SGD400 to avoid GST at SG customs.

running w/o airbox...the FCR, when i first received it from a privateer racer in the US, was prepped for race-use only, as bro GRassCuTTeR earlier mentioned. running open carbs allowed the guy to customise the height of the stacks/funnels since there were no airbox nor filters, to allow for adjustments in airflow rates.

but running open carbs for street use was just inviting dirt into the carbs and engine damage, so as advised by bro GRassCuTTeR i got the APE stacks that could accept the open pod K&N airfilters.

oh and #190 MJs gave me 8km/l kind of FC. but the ride was crazy :)

sure bro, i might give them a try later on, now waiting for my mech to try source it himself first, if he cannot then he'll pass the ball back to me to source... hehe... lately also dint ride my bike at all, i think havent been riding since august 08... my poor bike now just park n warmed up once a week.. went back malacca to check, the ohlins damper was transferred to my CBR9 from the 954 (after a whole month of modifying the brackets)... n my 954 is now running on the scotts-ohlins rotary damper.. cant wait to try the rotary unit next month hehe..

here some pics of my 900, forgot to snap photos of the rotary unit :slapforehead:

mine cbr9 had a prob,when i speed my bike,then let go throttle,it will burp like loss power for a while(merely 3 seconds)...what's that?

plugs may be fouled or over the service limit / air filter is clogged .. if the problem still persists after checking the 2 items above, then u gotta open up ur carbs... might be the main jets/pilot jets or the float bowl damaged.
