Hi guys, I am also trying to get back to riding but just not too sure what to get. Now I narrow down to duke 390 and MT09. Yes the are quite a part from the category but I think are both a fun bike to own. More for occasional riding.

So this is what I think. Duke is lower cost to own but seem to have some reliability feedback from elsewhere on the engine. And someone also feedback on the unbearable heat from the radiator.

For mt09 seem to be good other the the huge raw power that I am not sure if it is good for normal ridding in the traffic and if I can get used to it.

Would like some owner advise before plunging into it. Thanks in advance for any advise.

well, if its only the Duke 390 & MT-09 youre looking at, grab the MT-09 cause youre intending to ride occasionally. So why not have the extra power for more fun factor :)

Keep calm and keep on riding ~

Thanks for the response. Anyone know if the riding experience of mt09 is like the duke but of larger magnitude? I have test ride the duke at dirt wheel before. So just wonder how much different in nature are both bike.

Hi guys.. im looking for a class 2 bike and considering mt09 as one of my choices. But there are a few concerns that i have. One of it is the throttle response. Is it that snatchy as said by many reviewers?

Another concern is the suspension. I heard it is not a gd suspension. Too soft. Is it true?

Last concern is the heat from the engine. Since its a triple, it gets hot easily. Any of this is true? I need feedbacks frm riders who rides the bike before i buy one for myself.

Thank you
