Cameron yes my always favourite hunting place. At highway u can mantain 140 to 150 kph if the spped is ok to you. I rather take winding Sg.Koyan road you have to go through Karak then Bentong and Raub. The alternative route to Kelantan. Nice scenery there.

Hi All

How to drain out coolant fr xciting 400i?

Can teach me pls...

Engine have to be cool, so don't unscrew radiator cap with hot engine!!

http://freeimagehosting.nl/site2/image.php?di=CKR4

Just unscrew drain bolt a little, so not all the way,

"maybe" otherwise you loose to much coolant!

Another simple methode:

Why need to drain? Just top up your reserve coolant tank can liao. Unless you want to do major service

First of all, that's not a big issue.

As second, I guess international warranty is the same as over here in the Netherlands,

so or max. 12.000km or max. 2 years (what ever came first)

Now back to the job.

1/ Drain the coolant like I have showed you before.

2/ remove the clamp, and clean all the dirts.

3/ Get your self a new (Stanley) quality clamp, and use a Stanley-cutter to cut about 15mm. from the hose.... if you after cut of 15mm. discover problems like 'to short hose' you have to install a new hose from radiator to engine, but I think you can make it by just cut off 15mm.

Hose beginning onto engine side.

http://freeimagehosting.nl/site2/image.php?di=V7GE

Hose direction in de middle.

http://freeimagehosting.nl/site2/image.php?di=C07D

Other side of hose is connected to radiator

http://freeimagehosting.nl/site2/image.php?di=ZNX6

Full direction of hose from engine side too ending at radiator side.

http://freeimagehosting.nl/site2/image.php?di=Q3QD

Wish you all the luck you need.

Once more aka: repeat : Please buy quality "stanley steel clamp" just like it is now and don't buy shitty steel quality.

I realised that running in/breaking in new engine can be very tiring and "stressful" at times due to the throttle and speed limit.

Any idea how to judge weather I'm on less than half throttle while running in my first 800km? And max how fast and what's the RPM limit can I go during my first 800km?

Firts couple of hundreds are the most important, (actually the first 200) after ride your bike beware that you give the engine the time to 100% cool down, before you continue with riding it.

Try to avoid short trips, especially the first 200km try to make ride sessions from about 50km or more.

Try to avoid (Super) highway.

Use variated rpm's so off road/country side and inner city's are great areas for break-in session.

After 5 till 600km when engine is hot you temporary can give full throttle. 7000rpm+, and build this up till you reach 1000km aka: first service maintenance.

After about 600km my dealer told me that if I continue keeping the rev's low, it could be possible to get a lazy scooter.

From there I didn't keep my eyes anymore onto the rpm counter but switched to watch the kilometer-counter.

Hi guys, may i check something regarding kymco myroad 700i? May i know how much does it cost to change belt, rollers and clip? and how often should it be changed? Thank you.

Price of the belt should be less than $380 - do note that this is good quality stuff made from kevlar.

There should 6 or 8 rollers each piece would cost less than $10.

You belt should last you in the region of 40k - 50k km (please do not quote me do check you user manual).

The price may differ for different bike shops. Best if you can go to the shops and check. Regards.
