here to ask a sensitive question about buying the bike.

Anyone here keen to share where you have bought the bike and if anyone have any recommendation other than MS?

I'm looking at people buying from Unique Motorsports, Global Motors etc.

Interest rate is very steep at MS.

Yup. Met Steven and was quoted for an acceptable price. Just concern about the hidden cost and actual after sales service issues that will creep up after you pay the deposit.

 

So far, MS provide the best coverage for warranty but is also, not surprisingly, the most expensive. Some say you get what you pay but a new bike should not need that much of a maintenance.

It matters bro..i need to verify the parts number with them...have to check piece by piece

 

They "There" are selling airfilter (1721A) at $19.00, oilfilter (1541A) $12.00.....etc.....much much cheaper than "Here"...all from Kymco Taiwan

This bike is still relatively new in the market.. about 1 year old. Not easy to find 2nd hand ones.

 

Why not get new ones? Run in yourself and warranty covered for 1 year.

Ya u can actually measure and drill de holes on the windshield if u know how.

 

On a personal note, i wud prefer the mirror to b higher on de windshield. This brings it nearer to the rider so can see object in de mirror clearer and i find it asthetically more pleasing..

May I know which Ram Mounts Base fit nicely on 400i? My side mirrors already shifted to front panel, so there is 2 screw holes, but don't know what size for screw.

1)RAM-B-236U - RAM 1" Ball Connected to a 3/8"-16 Threaded Post

2)RAM-B-252U - RAM 2.25" x 0.87" Motorcycle Base with 11mm Hole and 1" Ball

3)RAM-B-272U - RAM Motorcycle Base with 9mm Hole and 1" Ball

 

For Note 3 - RAM-HOL-UN10BU - RAM Universal X-Grip® IV Large Phone/Phablet Holder with 1" Ball

RAM-B-201U - RAM Double Socket Arm for 1" Ball Bases. Which length is good? Short or Medium or Long?

RAM-B-346U RAM Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Reservoir Cover Base with 1" Ball Offset

with a mid arm and lock

and a Ram-HOL-PD3U Phone/PDA holder.

 

works great for my iPhone 4s with Lifeproof cover.
