[sold] WTS: Pirelli Supercorsa BSB tires 190/55/7 rear, 120/70/17

Dear All,

 

Exciting news, I'm selling a set of Pirelli Supercorsa BSB tires 190/55/17 rear and 120/70/17 front. This tires are brand new from Pirelli for 2013 and is a road going version of the race tires used in the BSB. It is a dual compound tire which uses the same thread pattern used for the Supercorsa SC2's. This ensures good performance as well as better tire longevity.

 

As with my other sets of tires which I've sold, I've done about 1000km on them for 4 x 1hr track sessions.

 

My opinion of the tire as of now is that they are nothing less than awesome! I initially only had one set reserved so that I can try this tire out since the Dragons have been discontinued. After my first session I've reserved another 3 sets, as I am confident that this is one of the better valued tires that would be out there for the time being.

 

This tire to me is a good mix of road usability and track performance. It is able to hold the line extremely well when cornering and gives a good amount of feedback so that I know what is going on between the tires and the road.

 

The tires are in good condition with no patching done or punctures and would be more than enough for road use. I would not let them go if they were not road worthy as it would be irresponsible of me.

 

I'm letting go of them, as many might already know I tend to change tires after 4 sessions at the track.

 

I am asking for $130 cash and carry. A new set of these would cost about $430.

 

This is a great opportunity to try out a new model of tires at a low cost to determine if you like them and maybe eventually get brand new ones.
