Engine servicing... where do you SV riders service your bike?

Service as in:

1 getting your Valve Clearance checked.

2 Carb Tune

others routine maintenance like oil change, oil filter and stuff I got a trusted mech... but as SV is not as familair bike to him, I prefer to leave it to better experince mechs...

Like what Runner Type R had mentioned, I did my major engine servicing at Sanfu. I can say that their chief, Ah San, is very familiar with SV's engine. He done a good job for my SV's top overhaul but their pricing can be a little steep for someone with a budget constraint. I forgot to mentioned that after my engine servicing, Ah San told me that my carbs were damaged and would require a replacement. This can be observed from the engine failed to stay idle. Now, this is a little quiz for every SV owner here... why my engine is not able to remain idling on that day when I was collecting back my bike from Sanfu. Is it really my carbuerettors are damaged? Or is it because of something else? Hee hee... :cheeky:

Clue: My bike was parked at Sanfu for almost a month... :cheeky:

Yeoman...

I had ONE experience with SanFu. send DR650 in for carb tune as there is very slight occasional coughing while cruising... I wanted to get it in order for the new owner. Single cylinder, single CV carb how difficult can it be...

After getting it back, DR650 was in a much worst condition. went back to rectify also cannot get back the same condition I had... My bike sold at below what I wanted. And New owner told me that he "FLEW" in a new carb for other country (true or not, I donno).

Don't think I will go back there again. Compliment being their shop is well/properly equiped and place is neat and tidy compare to other shops they looked more professional.

could b ur fuel tap s/w also... so fast change carb...

if ur carb got problem, i think u will notice it when u r travelling on e rd...

not when idling

guys check this out. http://www.singaporebikes.com/forum/index....topic=64447&hl=

looking good, the best mods seem to be the engine undertray, frame sliders n arrow pipe. however not sure whether arrow pipe is good for this bike.

oh and the price.
