Somehow, although the R6 is my personal favourite, i feel it is overated in terms of pricing. Which is why seasoned track racers like Wei Quan prefer the Honda while Chottoh prefers the GSX-R. But to each his own I would say, as the Yammie machine is still probably the most sought after in SG.

 

wah lao, using the wrong adjectives for me again. i'm not a seasoned track racer lah.

 

but anyway, it's true tt for a honda to perform on the same level as the yammies, suzies n kawis, u'll need to get HRC components for the bike.

even in wsbk the engines are blueprinted and modded to sbk specs...so honda's performance in sbk cannot be compared to our common street going bikes.

there's a 2003cbr600rr on sale now. 9k i think.

as i come to school via upper bkt timah rd, and in the mornings, the average speed is about 40km/h...

stock drz can hit 160-170km/h and can cruise comfortably at 130-140km/h on NSHW. I'm sure you know that, so why need 6th gear?
