You like mid controls with a big twin? Can take a look at the Dyna Low Rider. It is not much more expensive compared to the sportster. I'm also small and scrawny. Its about the same size as a sportster. But if you're not looking for a big twin, the 883R should be good to get through traffic with good enough torque.

front and mid controls are just your feet controls (brake and gear shift) at different positions.

Controls are in front of the transmission case.

Can see that the feet is going to be further front from the backside, stretched out (Enjoy the chiobabe at the same time.)

Feet is relative near the backside, thought not like streetbikes which are below the backside

Ok la. Big twins are exactly higher. In fact I think the 883R is higher. Just that big twins must open legs a bit more that's why seems higher. But we all love spreading our legs and having a hot throbbing machine between them. hee.

 

Anyway you'll need getting used to when switching different bikes. I still remember when I switch from a Shadow to a Sporty it was so "no used" to it. After a month or so. zip zip zip like road runner.

unless i'm having the wrong impression of what a rearset is,

 

your feet is always in front of your backside, only a matter of how far.

rearset = rear

mid controls = middle

forward controls = forward or in front.

cruise control = look Ma, no hands.

I try not to fall in the trap of buying too many helmets (even though the temptation is always there). I only have one head

In the country...open face with flip up/down face shield.

Travelling to MY and Thailand...full face.

And yes, i put on a half mask whenever Im wearing my half cap. Friendly reminder : remember to remove them before u enter any sensitive premises e.g banks, police station, military installation yadda yadda yadda
