I am juz passing the word along for a fren's colleague who's selling a 11-year old M900, mileage about 90k, selling about 4k. It's got 4 more years to go on the COE.

If anyone keen to view, PM me your mobile and I'll pass it to the seller.

Cheers

Best sounding pipes are still Carbon Fibre Termis IMO.... Rich, bassy, but not antisocially loud due to the small bore of the M400...

Just a little survey, what sprocket combos are you M400 guys using?

I'm refering to 5 speed monsters. I'm using 14/39, so 5th gear is much closer to the 6th gear of most bikes out there instead of straining at just 110km/h.

yo.. ask you guys arh, was the part or the pipe connected to the engine silver in colour?

mine's rusted like mad.. and i've been polishing all day.. damn tired... haha... but i can't get it shiny and silver in colour...

its like there's specks of rust on it...

another thing, is it ok to run the bike without any pipes for like 5 min?

From then to now...

You mean the intake headers? Mines painted over with silver paint.

And, your engine will run hopelessly rich low down if you remove the pipes. Also, its damn noisy, so don't do it!

orh... that means i must push my bike up from the underground carpark........ :giddy:

First, I'll like to say hi to everyone here, it's good to know that there are people in sg who like Dukes.

Got into an accident a few months ago and still recovering.

Initially thought I wouldn'd ride again, but about two weeks after the accident, while surfing the net at home, I chance upon this picture.

This is it, I'm gonna ride again.

Soloman > What happened to your pipes?

Brendaner > You used to ride Ducati Superbikes? Thats a nice color scheme!

nothing happened lah..

just wanna polish it.. cos it has turned copper brown... when the intake headers part...

round 2 of polishing will start soon... hahaha...

i finished one whole bottle of brasso yesterday...

now gonna go buy autosol...

i think it works better and a tube can go a long way...

From then to now...

If its made of steel, then chances are it will rust again, better to protect it with some paint. As for the Autosol, its an abrasive polish, so be careful not to use it on shiny surfaces.

Posted

huh?

not use it on shiny surface?

but the whole intake header is shiny right? haha...

after ii use autosol, what should i use to protect it?

From then to now...
