Hi all, newbie to ducati here. Recently got my 695 and now looking to add some mods.

Can anyone advise if a monster S4 front bikini fairing and rear seat cover can fit a 695? Similarly looking at a set of Termi high mount carbon fiber slip-on meant for S4. Can that be used for a 695? Heard that the ECU will be an issue?

I don't know about the fairing and cover, but for the termis you need to get pipes made specifically for the 695; those meant for the S4R will not fit. Search on ebay, there are a few with the ECU for sale.

yes, the bikini fairing and seat cover are all standard size for all mosters except for the new 696 and 1100.

Thanks thenation and jyy. Saw one exhaust kit meant for the monster S4 on sale in ebay. As it is an S4 and not S4R, the slip-on will probably fit but I heard the ECU can't work on the 695. Hence asking.

Getting minerva to import and do it will cost an arm and a leg, so have to source harder from ebay I guess..

hey..i am ridding a 695 too....thinking of getting a pair of terimis ..i heard it cost abt 1400 for it..by the way i was wondering if i am going for inspection...do i need to change back the stocks one.....

How ma woman found out was like this:

When we came back from PG that day, I met the FISHMONGER from our marketplace at the petrol station.

Few weeks later, the FISHMONGER ask if I plan to go play track again. That was then ma woman with big eyes staring at me and I pretend and ask the FISHMONGER quickly pack it up and buzz off from the stall.

Since then, the woman keep asking for my passport but I insist that I left in office and need to use it for short notice biz trip.

That was exactly on my plan to dump the pass.port and make a new one.

After some consideration, I decided to own up and show her the passport.

She lost count on the custom chops and shake head and sigh... then we deal that it would be no more sneaking out of the country :-)

When the Changi track open someday, I hope she will grant me permission and allow me to buy full gear and play local.

Yes, she does visit this site as a GUEST to look at what nonsense I am up to sometime :-)

thought the 695 comes with 2 low mount pipes??? if you wanna convert, there are some considerations you'll need to think about:

1) high mount slip-ons (obviously...)

2) high mount pipe mountings

3) mid-pipe (connects the high mount to the header)

4) you'll also need to check for clearance/fitment issues. high mounts are not meant for 695, design-wise, but can be converted.

i reckon the termi's can be used with the stock ECU, but you may run into lean/rich issues. the DP ECU is meant for the bike to be mapped into race mode, so that the bike can break the 11k~12K RPM.

the termis are racing cans, so will not be as restricted as the stock ones. the are some alternatives you can look into besides getting the DP ECU:

1) Power commander, used with stock ECU (can be found in sg)

2) Fatduc, used with stock ECU (cheap option but not sure if it works for the 695

3) and then, there is the Nemesis ECU...

before you commit, i reckon it'll be wise to do a little more homework...

ElfTech: let me know if you managed to source for a set for that price. Sounds like a very gd deal if can get at $1400. So far I have been hearing $3K+ for the whole works including installation and tuning/mapping..

The curved midpipe to the endcans area near the road also will scratch the tarmac if cornered low. So surprisingly low mounts can corner lower. That is through experience with my old high mount termis in 2005, which is sold to dunno where already.

GPR & Arrows have street legal high & low mount pipes... since urs is fuel injested there's always an option for a dyno & power commander...
