New Monster S2R 1000, note the spark plug on the cam cover. Dual spark 1000DS engine!!!

 

But.... am I the only one who thinks Monsters should all have low mount twin exhausts, and should be air cooled? Let the 4valve monsters have their high mounts, if all future monsters come with these Twin highmounts, I'm gonna mod it to the traditional lowmounts!

It doubles the life of a chain, and the amount of hassle and mess saved in the process, I think its worth its definately money on the long run.

Does it screw up the rear rim? flaying oil and all? Very curious as to whether it will dirty the rear rim, my number one concern when I lube my chain.

One set of chain and sprockets will cost more than $175, so it basically pays for itself after 20,000km or so.

 

And its very clean too, no drips, no fling, no mess, no dirty chain!

The heavy clutch is part of owning a Duke I guess. I find by holding the clutch lever further out (near the tip) helps.

It depends on age and condition. My advice is not to just look for low prices, but rather get well maintained ones.
