And some people just have a great passion for bikes.

 

Its incredible people who created "things" like this that makes the world a more interesting place to live in.

 

Its more than just time and money, Passion, skill and determination are needed in large amounts too :thumb:

why need so much stopping power for?

 

neo : if u ride a ducati, u definitely are not riding it just for transportation purposes.

Its called OTT, Over the Top :D Something unique. Theres more than enough power in the stock Brembo setup to do endless stoppies, these quad 6 pot calipers have enough power to melt the brake disc I think! :giddy:

 

As for the dough, well, depends on the individual. If you can put aside $500 a month, you can own prettymuch any bike. I'm sure thats within reach of most of us, but its whether we want to, and are we able to, and willing put aside that money or not.

 

You'd be surprised how cheap some 2nd hand exotic bikes are. Their value drop so much because people are afraid to own them. Well, some of us gain from this :D

Fellow Ducati riders, theres a meetup with the Yahoo Ducati group this Friday, Simpang Bedok. Some ST4 riders will be there :smile:

 

HOw to get there? Make a left turn after Tanah Merah MRT station, its just opposite a Shell Station.

 

I think I should leave my contact too, 90040061 :smile:

Garage sales and classifieds got at least 2 for sale. Check it out.

 

The radiator? Its an oil cooler, I installed it myself, so that the engine oil wouldn't overheat. More of a preventive measure :D

oh...

 

i noticed alot of the monsters online have the oil cooler... hmmm...

 

you know what... when my dad collected the bike, the bike had NO ENGINE OIL... haha... and my dad rode it for like a few days before he checked... and the tank was EMPTY... amazingly nothing happened other the engine being DAMN HOT... :faint:

 

oh... where do you usually do your servicing hu h?:sweat:

How do you check the engine oil level? If th ebike is on the sidestand, the window will show empty. But with the bike level, the window almost goes all the way full.

 

I dunno, the manual states to pour in 3.1 litres, but I cram about 2.5 litres the oil goes up to the top mark liao. I only dare to squeeze in 300ml more.

 

Anyway, alittle less engine oil is ok, don't overfill or you'll bust the gaskets. Change it often, and you will not need to worry about oil burning. I change mine every two months, or about 4000km.

he said that he see the glass got nothing... so he put a stick in... then it came out totally dry... then he put a bottle and a half of shell advance...

 

what oil do you guys use?
