During the Japanese Occupation, 3 Singaporeans, Ah Meng, Ah Seng and Ah Beng were caught for smuggling. They were sentenced to death by firing squad.

That night, Ah Meng came up with a plan. He told the others that the Japanese were afraid of natural disasters. So he would cause them to panic, and escape in the confusion.

The next morning, Ah Meng was led to the wall. The firing squad was lined up and the Captain commanded, "Ready.. Aim..", but before he could complete, Ah Meng shouted, " Earthquake!! Earthquake!" The Japanese soldiers panicked and Ah Meng made his escape.

Later, the soldiers took Ah Seng out and the firing squad were ready. The captain commanded, "Ready... Aim..." This time Ah Seng shouted. " Flood! Flood!!" Again, the Japanese soldiers panicked and this time, Ah Seng made his escape.

Observing all this, Ah Beng began to get the idea. "It's important to get the timing right."

Soon, it was Ah Beng's turn. "Timing, that's the key.." Ah Beng kept saying to himself. The soldiers lined up in front of him. The captain started, "Ready..."

"Timing," Ah Beng thought to himself

"Aim..."

"Okay," thought Ah Beng, and shouted, " FIRE!!! FIRE!!!

i have experience at bike shop to D# X#ng at UBI, before signing agreement, promised me so much things. i had to wait for 1 mth before i can get my 2nd hand bike and that was after due persuasion by calling them up.After i got my bike, so much problems faced and now when im late by only ONE DAY, they send me a red letter saying i did not pay up installment!! WTF?!!!

so slow in services yet so prompt in asking for money!!!! i only go there to pay installment. its always best to buy from private seller.

HUH?! 12.5k OTR w/o insurance? Den dat wun be called OTR liao...U can find better pricing outside.

As many had mentioned b4, shops do 'chop', but questions lies in how dey 'chop' & will u feel satisfied aft u get ur bike frm them.

Considering the quotations dey giv u i believe the pricing at the end of the day will be more den 13+k depending on ur age. This wun be the so called OTR pricing u mentioned above. Nt forgetting u haven add in the interest if under hire purchase.

Think wisely b4 u purchased. Recce for more bikeshops to ask for quotations b4 u hand ur money to them. I believed u will see the difference when u seen more quotations.

I have to agree the sales person over at the serangoon branch has much better service. Even when i was obviously just there to browse for a bike when i had the intention of changing to a scooter, the sales person would still answer my questions very willing and was helpful. Even when i called up to ask about the insurance quotes for various bikes they were very pleasant to talk to.

Sadly they did not have the bike i was looking for else i might just get it from them.

Changi branch on the other hand, i feel still has much room for improvement. They young chap i didn't quite like......probably the tone in which he spoke in...gave me bad vibes. And actually quoted me a pretty steep price for a 2nd bike i was looking at.... even when there were obvious scratches on the side fairings. Wilson is the only saleperson over there which i feel can tok to.

BTW to all bros, ASP will not be accepting NETS payment from next month onwards for your monthly installments. Was there yesterday to pay up my bike. Anyway I guess the reception of the staff may be quite subjective. So far I don't have any complaints about them coz I usually service my own bike, only send mechs for bigger jobs(valve clearance, fork seals etc).

My guess is that they wouldn't want to absorb the service charge levied to them by the banks. Muahahahaha.

Don't take my word for it bros, I was simply informed so by the staff there (changi branch).
