What is HISS?

Honda ignition Security System

What does it do?

There is a micro-chip install in the key that must be program to the device inside your bike.

What happened if i don't have the Program Key?

Then sorry, change the whole system.

How much to duplicate a new key?

$80 - $90 by Boon Siew(Parallel Import)

What happened if i don't have any more battery power?

Then you can't start bike, if you push start still can start.

Does it waste any battery?

Yes, it consume battery but of cos abit only as long as you start your bike daily.

Why does the HISS light goes off after about 24 hours?

It is because to save battery energy.

Does it works after the light goes off?

Yes, it still need the program key to start the bike.

Hope that this help.

Speed is not important at all, what it matters is the skill of riding safely and treasuring your own life in your own hands.

besides all these...

HISS oso has another function...

It can detects when ur battery life is nearing "death"...

How it works..

When u turn ur ignition to "ON", both ur RPM and Speedo Dial will turn clockwise to max den going back again.

After pushing the "START" button, both dial will remain stationary.

However, if, after pushing the "START" button, both dials turn clockwise to max and back again, tis is an indication dat ur battery is low and time to get it checked and changed.

no need to return to its original state.....cos u need to repeat this procedure everytime u want to switch off the hiss lamp......meaning when u start riding again, the hiss lamp will blink every 2 sec when u off the bike.....if u repeat the procedure again u switch it off again lor....:thumb: hope my efforts help all the spec n 2 riders out there......:goodluck:

if HISS is switch off, den will using a key not computerised for our bike be able to start it? i mean like if the key is cute and designed to open the lock, but not "syconized" to the HISS .. ??

Never ever hurt someone's feelings... may it be wif words or action tat u can never take it back...do nt act like u don't care but actually u do really care...coz no1 noes wat u r tinkin...but urself n u could just hurt some1 badly juz by doin tat...
