Wow cherns. The Handroid gloves look the business! Any idea where us mortals can get one in Singapore? Or will this need to be ordered online?

I know what you mean by getting stares - I've downgraded to Alpinestars SP8 with a relatively large gauntlet (pic below). Got it for S$130 at R*g*n*. I wanted to get the SP2 but changed my mind because I didn't really need too much for general road use. Will probably get something nice before I begin track work.

It's from the knox distributor in Singapore - they are located at 541 Jurong West Ave 1. It's a small shop run by an old uncle and his son. They also carry their own line of armoured raincoats... can't remember the brand name though.

Does anybody know where to get the white gloves like the TP use? :D I saw once they're using the IZ-2 brand, but I don't know where to get them in white colour - they'd match my white Fazer beautifully ;)

I always wanted to own one of this

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41tKXO%2BVyQL._SS500_.jpg

With the d3o technology......soon soon hahah.

Product Features

  • Neoprene wrist cuff with TPR closure.
  • Tough, synthetic leather and mesh construction is machine washable.
  • Internal revolutionary d30 technology inserts are specifally engineered material with intelligent molecules that flow with you as you move but on shock lock together to absorb impact energy.
  • Vented Clarino palm area stays soft and pliable, even after washing.

Product Description

The d30 components utilize the unique flow texture specifically desinged to provide optimal freedom of movement and exceptional protection due to the macro-densifying mechanism which maximizes contact and therefore minimizes pressure transmitted during impact.

CF definitely is much stronger and protects better than PU.

Class 2B - 26/03/2009

Class 2A - 01/06/2010

Class 3 - 10/07/2009

Rides(s)

1) Honda TA150 - 20/04/2009 to 31/08/2014

2) Honda CB400 Ver S - 12/07/2014 to ???

actually i think PU is also highly impact and abrasion resistant.

alpinestars prefers PU knuckle protection over CF for their top of the line gloves like gp pro and gptech. they claim it has 'superior impact and abrasion resistance'.

anyone knows whats an affordable glove to recommend? i dont need anything too good but to just protect my hands from the friction of gripping for a long time

If you want gloves for comfort and not ballistic protection, there are a lot of options from $2 to $50 depending on whether you're concerned looking like a housewife :)

I'm using a pair of industrial gloves from Mustafa Centre, $2, fits the purpose comforting my hands and fully waterproof too :D

I just received a pair of knox handroid gloves as a gift for my birthday! It's a full length gauntlet glove, but it's comfortable and is built like a tank - feels indestructible even... only thing is that I look like robocop with them on and get stares aplenty on the roads :p

Read the reviews for it. Nothing but praise.
