:giddy: this stamford motor is quite jialiat, although is good but see mood to work 1, sometimes bike leave there for him to repair, but instead for few weeks left there to collect dust, never even touch. that is y a few of us riding VFR has given up on him & gone to other place to service our bikes instead, we have simply given the mechanic too many chances, but he still couldn't change his working style. Wasted alot of our time running up & down

hi guys...jus wanna ask...any idea where to change the fork seals and the pricing?

Cox me fork seal one side detoriatiing liao.....

Oh one more thing...when they change the fork seal right...they might do any adjustment to our fork setting?

Base on the manual on how to adjust how rebound, compression and spring load..

is it advisable to click it ourselves? thanx

the settings need not be adjusted if you do not wish to.

You can play around with the settings if you want.

One caution though on servicing your forks. I changed my fork oil at 40K i think. After the servicing, I experience "stiction". The front end feels like a single rigid body when i go over small bumbs, like the forks are not doing the work.

I read from the fjrowners forum and they say attribute it to the alighment of the forks, upper and lower clamp. I asked my mech but he say its the effect of having new oil, which is thicker.

i oso dun know. But its not causing me real trouble.

dear all,

the elusive code 51.

think it happens when the engine is hot (& hot weather too).

any comments?

about this code 51. i just now check with mech from HL.

they said is maybe due to inttermitten failure of key sensor, try to "re-sync" all keys with the red bow key. it should solve.

hope help.

Why are people who ride motorcycles called bikers and people who ride bikes called cyclists?

is it becox FJR front end is heavy tat's y causes it vibrate only at certain speed...below n beyond tat it will not when free hand?

I don't really get this feedback on the S4... hmm..

As for the forks... perhaps might try it one base on the manual given to us.... but still will get nervous when clicking the rebound n compression

If its the front end heavy, den in the first it'll be like that liao mah.. But the "stiction" only occurs after my fork oil servicing. But how do you know it vibrate if you free hand? U cant feel rite? Or izit because u see it vibrate?

Anyway, the front settings can be adjusted easily... Just read the manual. The upper adjustment (not the black one), cant rmb what izit for, will need an 18mm open end.
