Hi Guys.. Esp.. Lun!

 

Now taking my Class 2.

Should pass my TP 1 or 2 mths later... i hope.

 

Aiming for FJR from class 2B untill now.

 

Just wondering Which Model should i Buy?? 01, 02, 03, 04, or 05 (haven't some out yet)

 

My age is 26 riding experience is 2 years...

 

is the Newer Model Better or Older Model?

Just wana compare..

 

I really hope to Get a FJR soon and go PARTY with you all in Malaysia and other Outings..

 

PLs do give mia Specific Details of the Price OTR, Road Tax, 2nd party Insurance, blar blar..

TPFT: 1.7K (For 25 yrs old, yours should be slightly cheaper)

Get those door opening protector for cars, i.e single strap of plastic. Car owners usually put it on the door edge. Cheap. Saw 1 FJR with each side pannier protected with at least 2 extra strap + the original yamaha strap.

 

Another option is to paste a sticker to the box.

hey is there onli 1 black FJR '02 model in spore???? saw one at west mall.... den saw it yesterday at suntec... hehehe.. suntec yesterday got 3 FJR parking near each other 2 '04 model, 1 black '02....

 

until now.. onli know of 1 black FJR... who bot 2nd hand frm looi's recently....

 

if ever getting a 2nd hand FJR instd of 1st hand.. tink will respray if metallic black..... hehhee

yah.. moi fren had the car reflectors... but it onli prevents scratches when u drp the bike... but not protect it frm itchy fingers... or fellow bikers whoz inconsiderate....

 

had an idea on how to giv the box full protection..... will try to luk into it and try out on moi frenz FJR... if workz... will intro to the SBF FJRians.... basically the idea will protect all glossy surface panniers...

I went to southern few days back to check on my dream bike FJR. I ask a few stuff as follows, hope to share with the rest:

 

1) bike price only : $23500

2) Insurance

--> Company : AIG (NTUC too EXPENSIVE)

--> Qoute : $1850

--> My Age : 25+

--> Experience : more than 2 years

 

Really love this bike, thinking of getting the galaxy blue one.

While other shop if offering machine price above $25k, Do check out any hidden charges before any commitment. Check whether the price is for the correct model.

BT020 got 2 model. Check the manufactured date. e.g {0410} mean 04 year 10 week.

I check with the southern again, the machine bike is w/o GST so after GST will be $23.5k + 5% = $24675

 

no erp, no coe, no transfer......

me too, is taking my class 2 and is seriously considering the FJR, besides the ST1300. The machine price for ST1300 is 10k more than the FJR1300, which is a detering factor. Moreover, don't see the FJR as inferior to ST in any way. any comments?

 

is there a FJR1300 riders group formed in SBF? where trips or gatherings are organised ?

Saw a Malayguy, quite big size, pillion a GF behind, riding a silver FJR FX plate, at Yishun Dam yesterday nite around 3am.

 

Saw it coming, Wondering what kind of bike head light so damn Bright with 2 panniers...

 

TO my surprise, it's a FJR1300. Wow.. Look at the design of it, makes me tempted to buy one soon.

The Design is Damn Nice, very classy look, only thing not nice is the Rear brake light. Too ugly and simple.

And most of all, the engine sound very smooth and quiet...

FJR worth it man... Pick up is faster den super four.... growls like a GTI... speed likes a R1..... rides like a ST (rider only)

 

but ermm... insurance veri expensive... unless ur dad or uncle got class2.....

I heard that the STX is now priced at the same price as the FJR. Rumored is that this is due to the lack of sales. Chk it out!

2nd party fire and theft.

 

And can spiorts tyres like diablo corsa fit onto fjr? i think should be able rite??
