Both. I rely more on the trusty 'ol map 'cos GPS not so accurate. GPS is good to confirm that you're on the right track

Wait till the day when you are stuck in some remote kampong area without any street name then you will know how useful a GPS unit is.

 

In my opinion a GPS is very important to let you know exactly where you are and where you are heading

 

Spend some money and get a good one.

Getting a replacement from HL is troublesome and expensive and won't last too, Bro, DIY lah.
