Hey buddies, has anyone used ermax windshields? they said that it is 4 inches taller. I saw them at Motorworld (Kaki Bukit road). It was pretty cheap at S$180. I am trying to decide between importing a Vstream or buying this. Any words of wisdom?:cheers:

just changed 3 weeks back. the height is good. quite quiet when extended..BUT the sides...high speed and fully extended, my tshirt will start to float up..but it's ok when ur wearing a jacket. high speed and not extended, no floating tshirt..didnt happen with the stock ones. btw, im riding 04 model.:thumb:

yeah, i did a solo to Vientiane, met them at Kanchanaburi, then rode back together from Chompon to Sg.

Thats because of the low pressure region created with full up windshield. 06 Models I believe wont have such a problem cuz they have vents .

wubefrub: Well, it sounds like it works well. Just to clarify... you have the ermax shield, right? Where did you get it from and how much did you pay?

omnislash: I hope you are right, But I do feel some back pressure with my stock wind shield all the way up. I am not sure how well those vents work on my '08 :dot:

Woohoo!!! Got my FJR and loved the shaft transmission !!! Super damn smooth. But the clutch is a killer though... Enjoying it every moment. When got meet up ah? Hehehe...

i doubt so they come with the panniers. should be done by the previous owner.

me changed at m1 motoring bukit merah..$270 or $280 if im not wrong..rear tyre onli.

tyre size is 190/50/17.

**original tyre size is-180/55/17** nt sure weather both tyres are da same price..

Thanks bro, I worked out a deal with unique motors where i bought a set of P Road 2 180 rear 120 front for $420, but only installed the rear first. Brought the front home with me. They gave me a period where I must go down to install the front, thereafter I'll have to pay for installation and balancing.

Changed my tyres front and rear to Pirelli Diablo Strada for $350... Changed the steering cone bearing for $140 and front brakes... Both calipers changed for $160 and it's EBC brake pad... Now the bike gliding...:thumb:
