me too.. was just unclear abt the mirrors if they needed anything extra for the mounting..now we all know(thanks to omnislash)

Read somewhere on FJR forum they were saying that the view on the "Gen2" mirrors are narrower as compared to the pre '06? Any bros here wanna confirm that?

No prob, I shall the extend the credits to Maddog or was it Bigcow... Always get the two animals mixed up.

 

According to other forums, FJR only got Gen I and Gen II. Pre-06 are all Gen I. The Gen II mirrors have a wider view, can see more. But FJR doesnt use much mirrors cuz we're almost always overtaking... :p

Auto Machinery is @ 41 Rowell Rd, enter from Serangoon Rd, cos is a 1 way rd. 62929452, speak to Joanne. I have just spoken to her to reserve the 06 blue mirror for me. and at the same time, she will be ordering the 2 rubbers for me. Will take abt 6 weeks for the rubbers to arrive. FYI, she left with only 2 colours for the 06 mirror.

Most likely they only bring in 2 colours. They also get their stock from HL. You can choose whatever colour you want as long as you know the colour code.

Has any bros here changed the meter lights to brighter bulbs or even LEDs? i find the meter KPH reading too small to read, and at night even harder to read with the dim meter lighting, esp since i have lao huay mak!

 

Any help most appreciated guys!

go to Southern Motor at Bukit Merah. Look for Ah Heng. He is good at modding the meter lights. Cost abt $70.
