Guys which brand are u guys using for brake pads and the prices .. Went to hlc and 1 of them said Fjr brake pads are expensive better buy after market ones. Now I'm confused plus tell me where are those aftermarket brake pads sold.. Thanks

Using "Braking" CM55 pads for my front calipers, good and reliable for street riding, does not "eat" rotors. - $150 nett(include installation)

Their the same.... But u need to get the rubber damper that fits between the mirror base and fairing, $2 /pc IIRC. And the mirror cost $90/pc from AM, when I bot it.

 

However, if you're using aftermarket windshield combining with the fact that your bike has a history of laying by its side before, causing the fwd stay to bend at the mirror mounting bracket, there is a chance of clearance issue. Otherwise, it should be fine.

me too.. was just unclear abt the mirrors if they needed anything extra for the mounting..now we all know(thanks to omnislash)

Read somewhere on FJR forum they were saying that the view on the "Gen2" mirrors are narrower as compared to the pre '06? Any bros here wanna confirm that?
