I've removed my triple clamp lately. The risers should be installed between your handle bar and triple clamp right? If thats the case, you do not need to remove the triple clamp. Just be careful when you remove your handle bars. Dont over bend you clutch, brake, throttle cables and such.

 

I tot so too. The risers seats between the clamp and the handlebar so why need to remove triple clamp. Anyway I found this,

Destination: Tentatively Singgah Selalu ( Might change if somebody has better place )

Mine is a Gen I. It looks very different from yours. The black coloured hardware might be the reason. Do you need to access from underneath the triple clamp to remove that thingy?
