for bumpy............i wear those shoes with segregated sole (leather shoes or army boots) rather than flat sole of sport shoes so that it wouldnt sleep n easier to control rear brake

move off smoothly........stand up on pegs......thigh forward grabbing the tank.......use body weight to transfer to handle bar........lock left or right elbow use another to steer slightly.................look far, for cdc got a blind spot mirror right in front about 50m ahead.........use tat............half clutch on off technique, throttle hold.........try to slow for 1st 3-4 bumps......thereafter if not zai.....n think 4secs is up......just throttle up n move off straightly off the bumps at higher speed

was taking my class 2 at bbdc yest and instructor told me in march they'll be changing their 2a and 2 bikes. 2a bike will be super4.

he said class 2 bike is a 1100cc. if us class 2 trainees drag our tp till after march will have to use that new bike, coz they're getting rid of all hornets, 250 and 600.

he said he didn knoe the class2 wat model. but he noe 1100cc. and of coz they must buy honda.

hmm. honda 1100cc. the x-11.......

better faster clear on the nimble hornet6 before i'm forced to get on that monster...

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

at first i oso tot st11; even asked the instructor he still say he donno wat model, he onli know 1100cc. i panicked as i pictured myself trying to take on the s-course and pylon slalom on the st11. but then i realized current st11 now is actually st13, so cant be.

so the only 1100cc bike seems to be either blackbird or x-11. i think more likely x-11.

thats why i say must be the x11. the bike below:

http://www.theautochannel.com/N/vehicles/new/reviews/motorcycles/2000/photos/abachofen_honda_x11_006.jpg

considering only honda road bikes, the only candidates culd be the hornet919 and super4 cb1300. but if the instructor's claim of 1100cc is to be believed, then this bike must be it. dam, heavier and more torquey to ride. the hornet6 so dam easy to ride, in fact i find it easier to ride than the hornet250. but if they make me go on the x-11 i donno how already.

anyway the instructor already told me confirm changing, only question is exactly which month (he say probably march) and exactly which model. even the circuit test route gonna change.

PS: oh dam i just read that the x-11 has got honda's dual combined brake system. i realli dowan to get on this bike do tp. hope i clear mine first time.

yes they will.

the centers are not private buyers. the instructor explained it to me. honda is a major shareholder of bbdc and ssdc, while yamaha is a major shareholder of cdc. thats why u will only see honda bikes (and cars) in bbdc and ssdc, while cdc uses yamaha bikes. it is honda and yamaha that decides wat models the center will use, based on wat bikes they want to promote. exactly how much the centers end up paying, i donno. but they are not private buyers paying for the bikes, rather the bikes are supplied to them by a major shareholder.

i donno how much the centers end up paying for each bike. could be just a portion, could be not at all. but definitely not the same price that you and i would pay for.

go apply for career as their riding/driving instructor. everytime they change bike (i dun mean scrap i mean change of model), staff gets very special price for the outgoing bikes. dats why u see some of them ride the newer honda cb125; got it at special price during last round of change to the cg125. heard staff price for the outgoing hornet250 going at $500. no mistake on the zeroes in my figure.

Big bike easiler to ride on. That my opinion. You got more control and power. It is stable too, compare to smaller cc bike. So if they change i think is better, since ii is in good condition.
