This is how you don't hv to wait for spare parts for CB400 in Singapore. See enclosed picture.

the number of CB400 in singapore is so huge that it reminds me of Nissan Sunny 3 years ago and LC Kia during the late 80s. Throw a stone and you will hit one.

When did u take this pic?

My friend's meter spoiled after he buang. He went to bike shop and they took it out for him. He still finding 2nd hand replacement so he riding without one now...

Biting on the fray of my hair, I muse upon the way to find the oasis of evermore beyond the vertical horizon, I shall join the windupdeads in owl city, neither my safetysuit nor my red jumpsuit apparatus can save me, cuz I mistook a death cab for cutie in plain white T's...

actually wen buyin a bike its all a big gamble on our side, doesnt maatter if its s4 or xjr, if prev owner treat it like crap, den ur in fer a big trou, bike shops where got time to open up the bike engine to show u the main stuffs thats important, he just say, "wah dis bike gd, no problem!" as loong u treat ur bikey with care n concern should last n serve u well. i personally ride the XJR, becoz its not common, no offence s4 bros!! maintainence are okay~ just my 5cts worth (aft GST):sian:

Bike is fer Point A to B, but fer me its fer point Z.. to get to point Z faster, use these --> http://skeptictoriches.com/

FJR fuel injected? hmmmm *puzzled*

Anyway i would prefer Super 4 Vtec / Spec II / Spec III over FJR if u like smoother powerband performance at mid range balanced with excellent fuel economy on cruising... heres how the VTEC is activated.

VTEC = above 7200rpm (all gears)

Spec II = above 6350rpm (all gears)

Spec III = above 6350rpm (1st - 5th gear), 6750 (6th gear)

S4 may be less torque compare to FJR on low to mid range but once u dail the rpm pass 5.5k, it's where the fun comes in, engage VTEC up till 10000rpm (max bhp) u will be holding on for dear life hehe... (my advice to 1st timer on S4, take her slow n easy for a few mths :thumb:)

For fuel management (FULLY STOCK BIKE PLS) wise, she can goes up till 420km including reserve.

XJR & S4...XJR parts can be hard to find but this bike is made specifically for people who knows how to perform..EVEN THE WORLD CHOOSES XJR OVER S4 @ bikez.com...coz XJR is in fact DIY friendly..Further more Vtec only gives a small surge in power @ sertain rpm but The xjr shall NEVER b left behind...as for cornerings it totally depend on tyres and rider minimal on shocs unless otherwise imbalanced..:p

IF u are so much of a soficticated and a need for speed 400 cc rider XJR is the #1 for u........:thumb:

Well said guys....After riding the XJR for 3 yers i must say that though the parts gives me headaches/heartaches, i have no regrets so ever for buying the XJR400R. It have its flaws with a rough engine sounds but with no overheating probs or coolant as the bike is air/oil cooled using EO as its cooling mechanism, i have no complaints at all. ON top of that, i feel special all the time as I dont see that many XJRers at every other corners that i make. Sweet ride, sexy tails & big tanks that filled up to 20 litres of ptrol & a raudy engine sounds to boot....I loved my XJR400R...& nothing u say wud change that. Too bad the market for Yammie bikes here is poor...

SUPER 4 sure WIN!! super 4 sure WIN!! LoL

Super 4 will win in terms of

engine oil used and most importantly of all,

most common 400ccbike on singapore roads!

No offence Superfour riders, but it's too damn "taxi" la the bike.

I ride KRR also damn sian.

So many on the roads. Haha.

At the end of the day, it's a personal choice.:)

Speed has never killed anyone.

Suddenly becoming stationary,

That’s what gets you.:faint:
