I had the chain wax but I forgot the brand (because it's so long ago). Here in Australia for my work bike, we're using Motul and it's crap because the lube drips down too easily. Last time there was some Pro Honda chain lube with Moly and it was a lot better. Feel like using my GT85 on the chain, but I don't know if they will approve

Yup. Went to the Bukit merah outlet to get my ipone sand lube thing. Must say the price is very affordable and good quality. Accidentally sprayed some on my hand, it felt liquid at first then it became sticky and greasy. Now I know how it works. Lol. No complaint so far. Quite clean also.

Thank you for your support and review!!!

We advise you to spare a little time for the sand chain to sit into your chain instead of riding straight off after applying.

Hope you like it for what is best for you bike & try our other IPONE products as well!!!

We will very much wanna hear from you again!

IPONE Sandchain Advantages :

->Sand Chain leaves a protective, anti-abrasion film which lubricates the chain and prevents sand adhesion.

so far I tried chain wax n teflon based chain spray, surprising that teflon based spray seems good... wax would leave some fling on the rear wheel, especially if you saturate the chain with wax/the heat on the chain start to break down the wax n fling off the chain... whereas teflon base spray wouldn't

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

i like wax because u can always see it .. so u know when it's itme to respray .. also wax is relatively unaffected by rain (unless very heavy) .. problem with teflon is u can neve rtell when i'ts time to respray .. hell, even after just spraying .. it looks .. the same

Belray super clean(white)

I really liked my Ipone sand chain but I'm a pefectionist.

I find that dust(note not sand) Sticks to it. Similar to dupont chain saver and using heavy gear oil.

If I could, I want to try their chain spray in the future.

Or duponts multi lubricant.

I read raving reviews about belray so I went to get it.

Damn expensive at 185ml $18 and 400ml $28.

Its does a very good job at coating the chain to make a environment repellent barrier.

And totally nil fling off.

I believe you can genuinely go for 300miles(about 500km) before reapplying.

The white colour helps in identifying life of the lube and spray coverage.

I have tried and tested many ways of applying chain lubes and different brands.

Lubes from Maxima chain wax, Belray super clean, Dupont Chain Saver, Gear Oil 85w90, Ipone Sand Chain and Ipone Spray Chain and Elf moto chain lube.

A 400ml Can should last you about a year.

Basically, an O-ring chain lubrication is sealed.

A chain lube protects it from rust, keeps the O-rings in good condition and help cushion the impact of the rollers, pins and sprockets.

The tips I have are

1. Do chain maintenance after coming home from a ride so chain is warm.

2. Remove the excess!! After trial and error, the best way is... after allowing the solvent to dry, use a rag and use a dabbing motion to remove excess lube, In between the plates crevices, rollers and side plates. You should just leave a thin film on.

3. Do it every 500km.

Tried using gear oil instead of belray super clean and what a difference in chain action.

Tried using engine oil. A long day of rain was all it took to cause rust.( I stay by the coast)

Extreme pressure Gear oil 80-90w. Paid 8$ per L.

Tried cleaning and lubing chain once a week. Still have spot rust developing.

Have to dose rather often perhaps twice a week.

Joke = Honda recommends gear oil every 1000km

So you won't recommend gear oil?
