Added a mesh

The color of the anime match the bike theme perfectly, good choice.

are you still looking for a z1000?

there is one black one in Excel Cycle.

didn't like that black one, the dry clutch is uber rusty already and the sales bloke is quite snobbish

1. How come your bike so big?

2. Dunno if the price uprated suspension is worth the price difference.

My 04 Z750 weighs 195kg and 100bhp.

The streetfighter S weighs only 167/169kg is rated 155hp

Difference between the streetfighter S and Streetfighter one with Ohlins and the other with Showa front and rear shock

Even the 2011 Z1000 specs (218kg, 136bhp) lost to Ducati

Power to weight ratio

2011 streetfighter S : 0.928

2011 Z1000: 0.623

Oh Ya! :thumps:

You comparing SF vs SF-S, or SF vs Z1?

The SF is a small bike, got a shock when I saw it in person the first time. Like the Hypermotard, be prepare to see only tarmac in front of you (can't see the rest of your bike beyond the speedo) :)

VPOST CS called and says operation office offer 40% discount from the initial shipping cost, but it still cost $200+ inclusive of gst. I told her still very expensive and asked for refund for item value. :p

Trailtech has quality stuff but usually not cheap.

You should be able to get DPST or other types with rocker and/or flip switches. It's the push button ones that may be more limited. nicely packaged ones (liek the trailtech) are a different story :)

Jerry: Better be safe, as the last time a good friend ordered a part for me first then good bloke picked it up for me days later. Thank you Elan and Iskandar. But then that was not a usual wear and tear part.

its a matter of time, has showed sign of seepage. Any bros can recommend workshops to do the cylinder head cover gasket locally? Appreciate your advice.

Worth every single cent. More so if you wanna track. (Plus gold forks are just so much nicer) Ohlins are much better than Showas. Anyway Ben, the SF seat height is much much much taller than your Z1000.

I love my Ohlins - even before I go for bike set up.

No, I find it smaller than super4 when you seat on it.

What was the shipping cost that you are expecting? By the time you finish ding dong with vpost, you would've sold your bike. btw you considering downgrading to S4? Sell so fast?

I think VPOST never expect customer to request send back to vendor for refund, hence they simply send whenever there is shipping slot and then bill customer accordingly. And if customer decline to pay they will suggest customer to disposed the item.

The situation now is in my favor and I expect the shipping to be based on the item weight which is $80 (4.5kg x $12.5 + $23), I think its a win win situation, VPOST won't have to refund me and they still get paid for the shipping cost.

I was thinking to downgrade to S4 since I did not fully utilized the bike potential fully. my avg speed only 90km/h. I think the S4 will suffice my needs also adding a top box to keep my rain coat and helmet won't look so ugly on S4 compare to Z750.

I never sat on it, I just saw a white bike park beside me last weekend when having supper at woodlands initially I thought it was a FZ6 from the headlight, but look closely it bears a Ducati on the fuel tank. I was very curious to see a Ducati bike smaller than my Z750 so I look more closely there are brembo brakes and ohlins forks.

Visually it look small maybe because of the short tail board.
