Huh why will the new Z750 have low demand? I find it much better looking than the new Z1000.

Any idea about the price BTW?

Hi to all Zed owners, I am also a Kwak lover and still have my old 84' GPz in the midst of restoration. Spares r relatively strong for this 1984 model and I'm happy abt it. However, I am looking to own a modern Kwak for everyday transport and currently love to own a Z1000 if I can locate one but where can we get spares for Z1000 locally other than Evershine?

I recall on a friend's 2004 ZX10r which has killer looks n a powerful motor. It is a Hot model in Europe and rated No.3 bike in Kawasaki makes. But when my friend's ZX10r breaks down, it took nearly 3mths to retify the electrical issue and he caution me on his bad experience on Kawasaki even though he loves Kawasaki. So y this local Shop still name "Evershine" where they did not do their part to get Kawasaki name ShinE bright?

R they just doing a ONE TIME off business? If there's a representative from Evershine happens to read this thread, I would love to hear their opinion.

Cheers

 Kinda of pissed for waiting so long. Worst than the company I'm working for. I can't believe Japanese such as Kawasaki is lousy in aftersales service. It must be somewhere which the order got delayed, such as the agent or the aftersales executive. Do u guys think so? As for my 84' GPz, I ordered my spares from UK and took max. 5working days to reach me. At least, that's reasonable enough for the delivery. :dozed:

Hell Yeah!

I service my bike at dili motor and they seem to be able to get the parts rather quickly. I had my engine gasket changed before and they got the parts for me that same afternoon I called. Not sure bout anything more complicated than that though.. coz I haven got any major changes so far.. :thumb:

get rid of carbon deposit.

anyone here up for this?

anyway..

FYI, just did the zorst mod..

heres a DIY step by step;

1) Removed the end caps.. (4" hand held grinder)

2) cut about 1.5" off the end... ( 14" hi-speed cutter)

3) tack welded the caps back on.. (TIG)

Took about 1 hour. (having the proper tools at your disposal helps plenty)

Left everything in..baffles, silencers. (although the single exiting pipe is now redundant)

Now instead of the exhaust air being routed thru 3 chambers & 3 silencers, theres only 2 chambers & 2 silencers)

Except for the sound, surprisingly this mod didnt do anything to the performance, no increase or decrease in power or fuel consumption..was expecting to lose some back pressure but luckily it didnt happen(maybe cos theres FOUR PIPES, so 1.5" off doesnt mean much?)

But it sounds brutally LOUD & very obviously illegal. Going to stuff some packing in there to quieten it a bit...

in idle it sound horrific. children run away in terror.

open the throttle &.....

I recommend this mod to all. easy & cheap.

And with the money u saved BECOS u got this mod, u will be able to pay for the summons u get BECOS u got this mod.:faint::lol:

you can try motoworld. they can get spares rather quick.

It never because of the company, maybe the agent is not doing much to bring in spares. But nowadays, nobody keeps much spares anyway.

Guys,I do not know if it's true or not but previously my friend owns a 2004 Kawasaki ZX-10r and I heard from him yesterday that his ECU got faulty and somehow the mechanic tried to bypass the ECU so as to skip e F1 blue light on the console from appearing. By doing so, the sensors got fried and replacing the sensors is very difficult to get as Kawasaki did not expect such issue to happen.ECU = 1Kplus not including labour and also not forgetting the sensors which also need to replace.

IMO, Kawasaki designers and engineers r actually building a super-proof machinery which in their opinion is definitely a no fault machine design unless mishandling issues by human. So if u do take good care of your Kawasaki machines, the machines will take care of your pocket. Kawasaki do last, isn't it?

Hell Yeah!
