hi all bros again,when on the road see cbr or other 2a sportbike,they always want to play with rvfs.so sian.why ah?our rvf always got challenged on the road.does anyone have this experience?just sharing some experience ever since i ride rvf for 1yr + liao.Happy riding all of you.

it happens to me all the time. everytime a sportsbike see a rvf..espeicially when i am alone, they all wana play punk..rev rev la....cut my lane la..esp those SPs....bopian lor..let them smell smoke lor.

no offence but most of the Bengs SPs that try to jio me on the road are really very kwai lan..P PLATE SOMEMORE.... for this kinda ppl..no need much "playin" la...just rev soon soon can liao but for PGMs...need to TUA alot. 3rd gear than can catch up with them, so dun play play man.

 

anyway...i think im gettin too old for all this "road rashness" liao la.....sighhh...u know the sayin... Mountain higher than Mountains, Skies Beyond SKies.

 

and how are u enjoyin yr V4 this past year?? me coming to one year liao too. still love it!!

but if really wanna play, make sure u rev till 14500k rpm for every gear.

silkolene engine oil is better than motul , most of my friends using liao :thumb: , then anyone here using b4 ROCKOIL

Rvfians: playing pick up with PMG4 got a bit problem coz their rear socket ( 45 T ), our's only ( 38 T ) unless u change front ( 14 T ) rear ( 42 T ) might help improve yr pick up......

Sorry to hear abt bikemania... Hope he's alrite now!!!

 

My advice is not to follow behind or ride near a taxi... Coz when they r looking for customers, they can juz suddenly swerve n change lanes n stop juz to pick up a passenger. Try to pick up speed away from their blind spots n never stay too close or behind them if possible.

Oic.i looking for iridium power.denso iridium plugs give extra power to the bike compare to the normal denso plugs which is cheaper.but donno rvf have or not.Anyway thx for reading.

mine sprocket is this size you mention leh.14T and rear is 42T if i am not wrong.keke.Change in MSC almost a year ago.Afam brand.Very shiok in the pickup.But wear and tear surely very fast.

frankly speaking,i still cannot feel the power of V4 over the year plus.haha.i find that the pickup of vtec2 and V4 is almost the same leh,when got 1 time try with spec2 on the road on a standstill on a red light.somemore, my bike sprocket very big liao,you know what?my pick up and the spec 2 almost the same leh. Also tried with a hurricane.Seems like this hurricane faster than me leh on pickup.haha.So cant really feel that V4 is superior than other engine.Anybody care to comment about this let alone my riding skills perhapes?

u every gear rev till 14500 still lose then change ur piston block and piston ring seal and piston may help.. really, no joke.

 

i dun think ur spocket is 42, should be 40 bah.

 

is ur clutch control good?

 

gear changing speed fast?

 

when u change gear, ur rpm drop how much?

 

when u twist that throttle, not just twist u noe.

 

the bikes u mentioned so far is of same caliper with us.

 

cannot just becos that we are of a special make engine, doesn't mean we are not in the same caliper mah.

 

if we can win by big margin, then we r 500cc lor.

 

so ultimately, its the rider skill that counts.

so far only s4 "play" with me.. no idea y they did tat also..

got 1 with 2 sideboxes wor.. hmm rem 1 PGM, 1 malaysia TZM.. bo liao

e rest s4.. mayb they noe i dun like s4 hahahhaah..

well.. think v4 isn't abt pickup ..it's about handling and somemore the posture for rvf is superb .. try riding other sportsbike then switch to rvf.. u will like rvf much much more

 

jungle boy : dun mind visiting bikemania.. which hospital and how's his condition liao. how did u know abt his accident by the way ?
