Hi RVFdians,

 

Anyone interested in going JB this coming Sat Morning(1/5/04) for Dim Sum? Will meet on 8.30am at 2nd Shell (For those who r not sure can meet at Alameen). After makan, we shall proceed to Holiday Plaza to do stickers or bike washing. We will only carry out with this outing if the response is good.

 

a) how much to bring:- min S$30

b) washing bike:- S$4

anyway .. does anyone knows if engine oil will affect your performance? rem i said abt my power dip .. i realise this only happens when my temp guage hit a certain range .. when the bike is still relative cold, the power dip nv comes in. i suspect it may be coz the oil heats up till a certain temperature and cause this? so anyone have any similar experience? btw, i am using the sikolene pro4 15w 50 .. so far mileage is abt 1800km (still far from the mileage tt demand a change) since last change

clifford do the bleeding for both of us is $30. so total is u must fork out $80.

spray the rim? hmm, should be below $100.

 

valve clearance, is to clear the carbon around ur valves, so that power will be more smooth.

heard from dun noe which part of this forum that if no do valve clearance, valve might break.

he seems very serious.

so if u prepare to ride rvf for long, maybe go do once, around $100.

should be every 40,000km do once valve clearance.

I got my both rims at $60. pm me if u wan to noe the shop name, cos its banned by mr shay. anyway the sample pic is in my sig

2day was a WET day for me, ken & shay.... We did enjoyed the moments 2gether in the "WET". Shay u smells!!!

Anyway guys, we've got 3 of the same mag which have 2 PAGES of "secret" informations on the NC35!!

U wan to zap it can lend from ah ken n ah shay.

consider the same thing as, valves will tends to loose n its the shim that holds around the valves, after 40,000km, u think the small tiny thing can still hold well?

 

so is clear the valve and do the shim together lah.

hey ah beng.. what do u expect after been drenched head to toe in rain water for so long? u oso dun smell belly good leh, chao ah beng!

 

oh yea...the mag is so good that on this fine wet nite, 3 brave Rvfian warriors fought the rain and cold wind from K&T to Borders to get it!!

 

anyway..it was fun. 3 rvfs splashing around in the rain... maybe oso my last chance of seeing Ken's RVF liao! BTW ken..just now the 0-100KM test, i think you won it.

our 1st gear was the same...(weakish)..then pull at 2nd gear ....then as i gg to 3rd, i think u finish yr 2nd gear 1st n gg yr 3rd gear and win liao.

i miss was so preoccupied listenin to the revs, i didnt watch my speed xceed 120kmph....hehehe. i guess Size 40 sprock is really better a tad in pciking up.

Just now i also lappin wid 1 rxk, I 1st gear lose, 2nd gear oso lose, 3rd gear oso lose, till 6th gear also lose. I'm on 15/40. Maybe is the fat ass behind me that add on the the law of gravity....

anyone here buying the honda repsol engine oil from the M.O anot? they say till so good until i oso buy. haha juz change my oil 2 week ago but juz buy and keep cos quite cheap.
