a permanent way of doing this is what the GREAT DLM use to do...he bought a whole CBR headlight switch assembly (mounts on left handlebar). seems like he didnt have any probs with it but that will set u back $70 or so.

another method is when you replace your switch, install a Relay to it. refer to this webby;

http://www.400greybike.co.uk/ ..... click WORKSHOP under the lefthand navigation tab. look under Bike Specific--->> Highbeam Modifications.

here, you will find a step by step guide to installin the relay.

The relay can be easily bought from Sim Lim square i believe, cheap cheap only.

after this mod, you will not have any more melted switches.... :smile:

i think Zulska is not as sensitive. in fact he is very receptive of your 'constructive reply', so quit it lah.

I have the CBR switch as well.... definitely good, can off and on when i want with ease. Better to spend a bit to make sure the switch is ok....RVF's electrical problems can be very tricky.

Bro, is the CBR headlight switch assembly as in Super 4 or CBR Fireblade?I would like to get one,where did you get it?I was quoted for $120 for original RVF headlight switch assembly.If can use the CBR and it works fine,even better cos as as quoted by SHAY cost around $70.Btw,where is the location of Honda Agent (Parts)?
