80 is for servicing the carb, tht means clean & tune, the guy wants to know tunning only

tuning only also same price, washing the carb takes 5 mins, so no different in price, ah chong charge $80 because tuning takes a lot of times, very troublesome... nobody tune the carb without washing it, unless those single cylinder 2b bikes...

Not exactly, it all depends on the rider. Perhaps he has just washed his carburettor months ago but his synchronization is out which is why he'd like to do a tuning only.

The more I ride my SV, the less I care about going to the annual bike show and looking at new,

or expensive, or exotic machinery. I'm continuing to mod my bike into exactly what I want it,

and enjoying every mile I put on it.

I'm no expert but just guessing tat it might be out of synch. Cos I just recently bought this bike n sent it for servicing. Before tat bike got no problem starting and idling is ok..but now starting the bike must always play throtle alot if not bike will die. Even when idling the sound is not stable. Like old man coughing like tat :giddy: . So thinking of getting it retune just to be sure

any idea how much planet charge for rejetting a 400 cc?

carb needled cost $20 each, plus tuning for GSXR400 will be roughly $160.
