My radiator leak on Monday.... went down to planet straight away after work... yesterday juz took back my bike.... change the front part where the wire mesh is attached to (not original)... now temperature never go up liaoz.... ah chong charge me $200+ gd job done.. :thumb:

Hi guys if I wana bring the bikes down to do full service wld I need to leave it there for a few days? E.g I go early in the morning wld I be able to get back the bike before they close?

Riding a 2B bike, I guess is ok their price are quite reasonable and get job done quite well. And if they check ur bike nothing is wrong he wont even charge u.

what coolant brand did they use for ur radiator?so "change the front part where the wire mesh is attached to (not original)" what do u mean here?btw what bike are u riding coz my ZX12 is really damn hot after few minutes of idling,the fan will start blowing hence i am looking for ways to lower it.

i forgot wat brand they using le... i riding super 4... i tot big bikes get hot veri fast? u can go down ask ah chong to check ure bike.... i am sure he will come out wif a gd solution.

Can I bring my own parts to Planet and ask them to change?? I know some shops are not happy as they earn lesser. Looking at the old post, gsxr4 jet needles they charge $20 ea, total $80 which is way too much.

 

I bought my bandit4 jet needles for $8ea and change myself, total $32.

can.... u can bring ure own parts down n ask them to change for u... ah chong will not b unhappy about it. but will charge u a bit for changing the parts for u.

12R is born HOT..... even a muzzy alum fan or good coolant don reli helps..
