Actually, I quite pity him, c him sometimes 'get bullied' by customers. Confession: I also sometimes bully him, like raising my voice lor. Sometimes, it's like tt 1 lah, when u need to dig deep into ur pocket, sure buay song (exasperated), so vent frustration @ him lor. He'll also vent frustration back @ u if he's familiar with u.

 

Nevertheless, if I were to bring my business to motordiam, I will opt 4 him.

 

Oh, btw, I'm not his employee, Ah Beng, ah.

Who is Ah Chong ? Is it the one with the criminal look ?

Me too, I stay at Jurong west Ext ... But I still go there despite of distance. In fact, he is honest n his price is fair, so I dun mind going down...

went for full servicing on last sat..

 

somehow, they are not like very experience in doing that, and I have to tell them to do this and that..

 

anyway, changed Air filter and spark plug, solved my intermittent engine dead problems when stopping in junctions.

 

they tuned my bike a little, and also told me that my tensioner also got problem liao..

 

how long does they need to repair/replace the tensioner?

 

btw, was only charged $20 for the "full service" and parts..probably because I am their first customer of the day.

 

(was charged $53 for the exact same stuff in ah koon half year ago!)

erm... if u dun tell them wats wrong then how they repair the bike for u?

i think it's not necessary to tell them to do this n that... sometimes i go down with some unknown problems like got funny sound when riding, then ah chong will take my bike for a ride, come back n tell me wats wrong n he will do it up...

maybe different ppl got different things to include for their term 'full service' lor... if u juz tell them full servicing then they might even clear carbon for ur exhaust pipe... think they juz dun wan to take the risk to do somethings n charge their patrons for things they dun wan in their 'full service' thats y they might need the specific things u wan to do up for ur bike lor... =)

on Mon morn, i went back to Planets for some treatment... cos cannot raise speed beyond 95km/hr...

 

once there, Boss Ah Chong recognised me, then asked me why i come back... I told him my prob, then took my bike for test ride... came back... raise his voice:"YOU... did not lie, really no power."

 

from there, we started to joke on how busy he was, and tat may soon need a take Q number to see him... like polyclinic style...

 

Ah Huat (wears specs) then helped me double check my air filter and spark plug... then found tat air filter was wet, and spark plug need changing liao...

 

total cost: $15 (filter) + $8.50 (GSK platinum plug)

 

now, tested my bike eariler... can easily go 120km/hr on ECP.... will go there more often liao...

Don't know wad your full service means..... to diff pple it means diff things.

 

Specify wad you wan or wad your problems are..... makes it easier for them and for your pocket as well.
