Red light cam

just need some1 to enlighten me. just now raing quiet big.. when i see teh light turn red.. its too late for me to brake. as i scared it wil skied its too late for me to go pass it le.. and i beat teh red light at queensway there.. hmm~~ teh place tat wan to make expressway .. a small traffic crossing..but when i turn to see wherther there is a red light cam.. dun have leh .. but i see 1 more time. theer is 1 cam like.. some lift have 1 .. liek those national day have de.. hhope u al lknow what i mean . cuz my english is not really good.. all i wanan know izzit red light cam.. thanks in advance ..

but tat 1 is not those old type leh .. those nation day use wan .. at queesntown teh junction also got wan .. hai. dunoo tat is red ligth cam anot . worry sick ..

oh...close to Special Operations Command ar?that one onli have a red light cam on the opp direction..if u see those high up in the lamp post one is to monitor traffic congestion...

Since you are so worried and you want advice,

karmatrix already said it:

" No flash = No redlight....

you won't miss the light...even if it's during daytime"

 

All traffic cameras in SG, when they go off, will let out 2 bursts of very bright flash.

Even if you are not looking directly at them, as long as you are near them, you can see the reflections.

 

Lastly, if you are still so worried, go visit the same traffic junction and survey.

Traffic cameras work in pairs. They are mounted on low posts, no taller than a basketball board and shorter than lamp posts. There should be 2 of them together, no more than 5 m apart.

 

Then, wait out 2 weeks. No letter, you are safe. Got letter, just ride carefully until your points top-up again.

what u mean is in sg there is onli 1 type of red light cam?

means all red light cam are the same...they look the same...not like speed cam...some look different...e.g the one on PIE and BKE are different

I think some red light camera are for show only.....recently just happened to tried crossing one after red but nothing happened.It was 2-3sec after red...heng:sweat:

think drive carefully lohz... sianz red light damn irritating somemore sg so manli some times very difficult lahz,,, today juz beat hope nothing... nv see any flash though..... the light juz turn red then turning arrow juz come out then i behind one car the car juz go then i also follow then when i cross stop line light stop suddenly

i too fast liaoz no choice. dunno the arrow so fast.... sianz....
